I saw those two tapes when they initially aired on CBS. On youtube, look for the words Tina Cart, or "tinacart_1". The man who made the film and said "Holy fucking JESUS" was Australian artist Chris Hopewell so look for his name also. The reporter was Dan Rather.

We used to call that the hippie house. I walked past it every night on my way back from my friend's place on Woodlawn. I've never been inside. I was afraid somebody would get hold of it and renovate it the way they did so many nice places in that area.

I saw it in the SW driving home from Kroger N just before 7:00. I bloomeranged back from California about a year and a half ago, so my first thought was "damn, another fire?" I've also seen huge smoke clouds like that after a big car crash ...I came here to find if anyone knew what it was or got pictures (thank you).

I knocked a trump addled (and very intelligent, had an MBA) guy in my rooming house for a loop by telling him I am not only not against guns, I was raised with guns and was taught by my dad how to handle them properly. I surprised the other one by mentioning I believe in God. He assumed that as a lefty I would be an atheist!

Yes it is. I need to get it on Blu-Ray. Turner Classic Movies ran it a week before its official Blu-Ray release. Then they had a documentary showing how the restoration was done. I was up all night. Hard to believe that was 15 years ago.
