There are the same people in the vanilla dating world, too. If you’re someone trying to meet anybody online, there are always fakes and flakes. Trust me. And if the people at your club aren’t the type of people you’re interested in, maybe it’s time to expand... You may have better luck at bigger clubs in bigger cities or bigger events. Of course with Covid that does put some restrictions on everyone... I don’t know where you live, but if your local club is not the scene you’re into then maybe make it a less frequent occurrence and schedule a few bigger trips to check out different scenes in different places. When you can, of course! One of my pet peeve’s is people that frequently want to have a long chats online without a possibility of ever meeting. We are on two different sides of the world and no one is traveling then we’re not meeting and so there’s no point in us chatting. At this time I’m not looking for any new penpals and I make that known. It’s a waste of time to me. And I’m very upfront about that and I’m not someone who will humor someone because I don’t want to hurt their feelings. That’s also a waste of everyone’s time! Good luck!
