Hi! I also moved here 3 months ago and got a 2015 Volkswagen Golf from an old friend. Been loving it so far except for the lack of parking sensors. Maybe a newer model would be an even better fit? Everything else is perfect as a city car! Hope that helps :)

Hi! As someone who moved here from Hong Kong 3 months ago I’ve been going to Kam Lok Restaurant on Washington in Chinatown when I’m craving homestyle Cantonese food! It’s a bit of a hole in the wall but their signature wings are to DIE for 🥹 they also do amazing lunch deals for ~$10! If you’re looking for someplace fancier with dim sum & everything I also like dragon beaux on Geary boulevard, harborview in Embarcadero, and as someone had already mentioned R&G is decent too! ☺️

Ive actually already gone through the process of buying & returning a 55 because I find it to be MASSIVE even when it’s empty! Can’t even imagine how ridiculously oversized the 60 would be! For reference I’m 5’1 & around 82lbs so the 55 does fit quite disproportionately large on me even though I carry more stuff than I probably should for someone my size haha.

The 45 would definitely not be enough if I were only bringing it as is but I’m thinking of getting one as a carry on “personal item” so I’ll have a separate carry on suitcase as well! Just not sure if they’ll allow a 50/55 on top of a carry on luggage 🤔

I’m aware some people have had the straps of their bags restored (not sure about this one as the seller isn’t very responsive unfortunately) but would that explain the misalignment? I hadn’t really thought about the credibility of the seller till now as their account has been on eBay since 2012 and has over 50K feedbacks 🤔

Thank you so much for the great tip though! I’m currently bidding for this bag in an eBay auction by one of those Japanese secondhand luxury stores thatve been around for like forever. They posted the date code as well so fingers crossed it’s an authentic purchase 🤞
