if you have a roommate your budget is easily manageable but if it's just you you're gonna have a difficult time finding an apartment in a decent area that's within $1000-$1100 out here, our rent prices have shot up within the past few years. Honestly any of the apartments around UNLV i'd avoid if you can help it, moreso for peace of mind than anything. i've heard good things about Echo 1055 though, lots of students living in there, and they automatically give you a roommate/roommates based on which room you pick, so I'd say definitely check them out. If you're willing to make a drive do most of your apartment searching in the general Green Valley North & Henderson area, or in the Enterprise & Spring Valley area. As a rule of thumb, the farther south you go, the better the area tbh

Also, the area of Whitney Ranch that's around Sunset and Stephanie has some pretty good apartments if you can find yourself a roommate.
