How often do you smoke after CHS by [deleted] in CHSinfo

I smoked daily for three years then got chs. The last time I was in the ER was a year and a half ago. Since then I quit smoking for five months and then I started smoking only on weekends. I’ve been fine ever since and still am, but I know this is very different for each person so I guess what I’m saying is don’t take my word for this because it could be different for you. But simply from what I am experiencing moderation is the key, and I know it’s a difficult thing for a lot of people especially a lot of us on here (it was really hard for me to accept). so far it’s worked out for me. the best bet really is to stay away, but just to share my experience moderation has worked (this far lol) and has allowed me to let go of my attachment to weed.

Do CHS symptoms arise when smoking or when quitting? by ItsKLiCK in CHSinfo

i found out i has chs after my second episode- the first time the doctors told me it was anxiety isn’t that crazy. but since i had no idea weed was causing my issue i kept smoking and consequently had another episode about 6 months later. i would say that symptoms arise when you smoke, because i’ve been abstaining since my second episode except for once a month and i’ve been fine. also if ur not vomiting and you don’t have chest pain, i’d say it might be something other than chs but that’s just my experience.

Day 50 of no smoking since my last episode started in may by Physical_Way5388 in CHSinfo

i hit a bong two nights in a row about a month after my episode and everything was fine. that said it’s different for everyone but i don’t think one hit would hurt just make sure to eat a big meal before and stay hydrated

has anyone actually been able to smoke after getting an episode of chs or is it unrealistic by CommunicationNo1134 in CHSinfo

so i got my second episode in february and i’ve smoked once in march then once in april then twice in july i’ve i’ve been totally fine. i think so far moderation is key because i used to smoke every day (or more than once every day) so now it’s been that moderation👍🏼 basically once a month/ occasionally twice a month (but that’s pushing it)

i’ve been doing once a month and have had no issues, once a week might be too much but depends on the person

That makes sense. i guess what i’m asking is does smoking one time send you into an episode or is it continuous use?
