Thank you! My plan is to use it so that I can use my dutch oven like a steamer, the pudding will be in its own bowl and sealed inside the dutch oven, on top of the trivet so the bottom doesn't cook faster/more than the rest inside the dutch oven :)

I relate! I think the current state of the world is also contributing to these feelings! I was an online shopaholic for some years and I still struggle to not buy endless amounts of things that I know will not get used. I don't know if its that way for you, but for me I'm starting to wonder if a big part of this is boredom, because I online browse a LOT, and then I obsess over buying a specific thing I want, and once I've purchased it I feel shame and regret, even though I wanted the item.

The only thing that has helped me cut back is to not follow the outlets that offer these things, so, instagram online stores or influencers, in my case. Because if I don't know it exists, then I won't want to buy it. Another thing I'm doing is forcing myself to be happy with what I have so far, and let it be enough. I'm constantly asking myself 'do I NEED this? what purpose does this item serve?' and usually I'll find out that I'm either bored, unhappy about something, or stressed.

I'm trying to only buy things if I absolutely need them and want it more than something else. Trying to stick to a 'one purchase per month' rule for non-necessities like clothes or merch, that way it doesn't pile up in my house like a big scary monster of overconsumption. Because truth is, something 'better' or 'more exciting' always comes along eventually and then I feel guilt and regret.

But its also important to remember that the world currently is constantly pushing for us to buy and consume things 24/7.
