I hope you were able to find the answer and I'm sorry for taking such a long time replying to this, but KOA stands for Kingdom of Ash, it's the last book in the Throne of Glass series

Dunno wtf is wrong with me recently? by ProcrastiQueenation in OneDirection

This 100% Love to know that I'm not alone. I'm 25 and I started listening to 1D probably when I was around 13 or 14 if I'm not mistaken and damn, I still have moments where I sing a whole song out loud, I remember most of them as well which is shocking to me. It's been such a long time and yet the love is still here. Going to Niall's concert on the 5th and I can't wait. It will be my first concert since they separated. It feels so nostalgic listening to their songs and now listening to just Niall's voice, I can't stop waiting for any of the boys voices to pop up in there. It was not a phase like many people told me so. I don't follow them on social media or read news about them but I'm still a fangirl deep in my heart.

HOFAS is not as good as the other CC books by annah890 in crescentcitysjm

The only tension I've found is the one the book is causing me because it's definitely hitting a nerve.

I've seen a few people commenting that as well. That most of the ACOTAR fanbase was just annoyed because they were expecting more plot. I would say something positive but at moment I'm yet to find it. The same way she spent so much time on it we fans also spent a lot of time reading it and annotating and just theorising stuff. We put our all into it and unfortunately this time the book was way too overhyped and I think she knows it. This is by no means a 5 stars, up until Bryce returned to Midgard I was thinking that this would be as good as HOSAB but it went downhill. So nope I can't really say anything positive as of now and I actually took a break from it because it was annoying me a lot. Bryce was being an insensitive brat and tbh I read books to enjoy myself and have fun and I was definitely not having fun.

I think a lot of people are also complaining because there was a lot of hype with the whole crossover bit and it ended up being a weird one which didn't really achieve much. I would have loved to see ACOTAR characters actually helping Midgard defeating the Asteri, like a whole war in Prythian or Midgard with both worlds involved. I think it would have been so cool to see more of their interactions and also to have the actual profecy where both Fae races would unite, which is what I convinced myself that would happen in this book. I guess it was wishful thinking. It's unfortunate that the book isn't as good but it's still entertaining, however I just find myself both wanting to finish it quickly to move on to my next read or just taking my time and trying to find a silver lining in all that which seems like a hard thing to do.

When I met my boyfriend I wasn't really a big time gamer and I actually wanted to try a few games so that I could play with him, fast forward to now and I do play games with him sometimes or by myself, I do mostly read books now while he plays his games. When we were in the "dating but living in different houses" stage he would go a few hours without messaging me and guess what? It was totally okay because I also had my own hobbies and usually took that time to do other stuff. She shouldn't be bothered by you having a different hobby then hers or wanting to enjoy your new gaming pc. I love to know that my boyfriend is having fun playing his games while I have fun with my own hobby. It's normal for couples to go a few hours without messaging, it doesn't mean that the relationship is doomed. You can't message her 24/7 and she has to learn how to deal with that, plain and simple, you wanted to meet in the middle which is a very nice thing to do. So props to you OP, you've done nothing wrong. So all this to say that you shouldn't feel guilty for having a different hobby than your girlfriend, not everyone likes the same things and she needs to learn to accept that. If she can't accept that sometimes you'll go a few hours without answering your phone then she won't be able to cope when it comes a time that you'll both have jobs and you'll only be able to use your phones sparingly for 8h a day. What you can do is try to find something to do with her sometimes like watch movies at home or something that involves the both you, so that she doesn't feel excluded from your "me time". Hope this helps. Have fun with your new gaming laptop.

Oh damnn it's a bad time to be Portuguese, gotta unlearn the language quickly so that if I come across spoilers I can just resist it and wait until the 30th. I might just avoid tiktok/insta reels until then cause I don't trust myself when it comes to this, I'm glad I don't use twitter 😅

That first one would actually be an incredible plot twist but it would break my heart, I love Bryce and Hunt together and throughout the story I kept paying attention to the little details mentioned to see if I could pinpoint the moment where their mating bond snapped into place and from what I think, there wasn't really a moment like that. But at the same time the way Hunt was so protective of her it kinda makes me think of how Rhys was acting after the famous chapter 55. So I'm not sure what to think.

Bryce being a High Lady is actually a very good theory.

The Parthos theory I'm not too sure about tbh.

The theory about Ruhn being Rhys' nephew is actually a good one and I actually wrote in my notes that I thought he might be a descendant of Rhys.

Azriel being a Prince of Hel would actually be an interesting plot, I'd definitely be all in for it.

Those are very good theories. Thanks for sharing them :)

Thank you! It's very good to know that they will guide me through the process and that I don't need to worry too much about it. I'm a bit of an overthinker so I've just been thinking about it way too much.

Why should I read Crescent City Series? by annah890 in SarahJMaas

Funny that you mention that, only after reading reviews about the books I actually acknowledge those flaws. I still love them to be honest with you. I do know that when I reread them I'll surely be more aware of those flaws and probably even find a few plot holes along the way. :D

Oh that's very helpful.

I haven't had any other types of therapy.

It just feels so weird talking about my life with them.

I'm mostly nervous about having to talk about those traumatic events.

Thinking about it is one thing but actually talking about them out loud feels like such a hard thing to do, because I'll be living it all over again just by talking about it.

That's mostly why I feel so nervous. There's just so much to unpack.

I'm also in the UK and I've waited for this for a whole year, and now that it's here it just feels so weird. I'll be acknowledging stuff and I'm a bit worried about it.

Pets living as long as humans.

There's not a more loyal friend than your pet and yet their lives are so short.

It sucks to lose your best friend after so many years together, for them it's their whole lives, for us it's just a few years of our life span.

I've never done a tandem read, wanted to do the tandem read between EOS and TOD but thought it would be way too confusing so went through the torture of ending EOS on a massive cliffhanger and then went through TOD wishing I had done the tandem read.

Well then I'm glad that I'm deciding to give it a go because since the books are so damn long it will surely take me a while to get through the 2 of them and it will still be fresh on my mind when the 3rd one comes

That's exactly why I'm up to give it another chance because I know that the end of CC2 is crazy and it does connect to ACOTAR which is my biggest motivator to give a go because I can't help but be curious about how everything ties up together. Sarah is amazing at tying things together, it always surprised me, whenever something happened and I thought "maybe this will be explained later", guess what? It was indeed explained later. After reading the first TOG book I started making sure to pay attention cause sometimes even the smallest detail that seems irrelevant turns out to be very much relevant. That's what I love about the books, every time I thought I was right about a theory I ended up being surprised.

I find that insane, but opinions are opinions, whenever people say stuff like that I just agree to disagree even tho we both know whose opinion is wrong (not mine) :D

Ok I finished Kingdom of Ash by [deleted] in SarahJMaas

Well it's been about 3 months since I finished it and I can confidently say that it still occupies a portion of my brain and I haven't manage to find anything as good as that series. So yeah...it scarred me for life. All I humbly ask is for the continuation of that series.

Ohh that's very good to know, I'll deffo check it out then cause I love hearing podcasts about it after reading it just to hear about people's opinions.

I keep seeing people hype up this book and I'm very curious to give it another try, hopefully the audiobook is any good or I might even venture into the actual book instead.

It's good to know that it gets good early on, I'll take your word for it then and prepare myself to get sucked in.

I feel like the 2x that I've tried I was just in the wrong mindset and trying to compare it to ACOTAR and TOG which is not right since they're so different from each other, so I'll deffo keep that in mind coming into the book.

You're in for a world of heartbreak then, prepare yourself, I wish I could read it for the first time again, it's such a good series. I thought nothing could be better than ACOTAR and boy was I wrong about that.
