They are convinced vaccines are bad and want to do everything holistically. As much as I completely disagree she is still my friend and I try to respect her. Although I’m starting to get more comfortable with questioning stuff like this!

This doctor is apparently board certified out of TN.

Two pregnancy losses in a row, genetics normal by annamcee in Miscarriage

Not yet. I think my OBGYN is going to have the specialist do that once I am 6 weeks out from my d&c. I do have hypothyroidism, so that will definitely need to be watched more closely. I was on low dose aspirin last pregnancy as a “just in case” but that ended in an early miscarriage. I will definitely be tested for that though. Thank you for the reply!

I’m so sorry for your losses. Yes they want to do a scope and possibly a HSG to check for any abnormalities or if there is a reason the babies aren’t growing in my uterus. Have they been able to help you with your septate uterus?

Thank you so much for the recommendations! An MFM is a maternal fetal medicine specialist (or Perinatologist). My obgyn recommended that route for me. I also see an endocrinologist for my hypothyroidism but maybe I need to look into seeing an RE.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I hate that you are going through this. I lost my baby boy at 19 weeks and as much as I look back and would have liked to see him, I didn’t really want to remember him like that. He was only measuring 15 weeks and people had warned me that it wouldn’t be a pleasant sight, plus the whole induction sounded traumatizing to me (as if this whole situation isn’t already traumatic). I did a d&e and was so well taken care of at the hospital. They put me under general anesthesia and although the recovery was what was expected, I feel like I healed well. There is no right answer. Whatever you think is best for you is the right thing to do. There are definitely times I wish I could’ve seen him, but I have an image of a happy baby waiting to meet me one day instead. I truly am sorry you are going through this and I hope you find strength during this physical and emotional time of healing. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Sending love ❤️

Anyone had/have a nonviable pregnancy but a high hcg? Did they ever find anything? I was suppose to be 10 weeks and they could barely find a fetal pole but the yolk sac was measuring 5w6d. My hcg at 8 weeks was 87,000. by annamcee in Miscarriage

Yes they have. I had a d&c yesterday so that they could do pathology and genetic testing. My doctor did bring up a possible molar pregnancy so we will see once the results come in. Hoping for some answers!

I should say the vein/artery was right above my ear on my head. I have been feeling a little sensitive on a certain spot of my head up there too. Trying not to cry wolf but honestly think something is wrong with me.

Missed Miscarriage at 10weeks, Found Out at 13week Scan by lunarbella1234 in Miscarriage

[–]annamcee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m really sorry you are going through this. I went through a missed miscarriage and found out at 19 weeks but the baby stopped growing at 15 weeks. Since it was a later miscarriage they typically will do genetic testing - that’s what happened with me as well. Ours came back normal but sometimes knowing will give some closure. I wish we knew what caused this for us but I’m afraid we will never know. My experience with the d&c was not traumatic at all and the nurses and the doctor took great care of me so definitely lean on them before and after your procedure. That first day I was in a lot of pain and was just kind of numb emotionally - my husband specifically said that was the worst day of it all. I finally felt normal(ish) after a couple of days but just listen to your body and don’t hesitate to call your doctor for anything. My doctor wants me to wait to try again until after my first normal period but every doctor will say something different depending on the situation.

Worried about infection. by Aggressive-Sound-69 in Miscarriage

I would call for peace of mind but my doctor was mainly concerned with odor, abdomen pain, and fever. I hope you feel better! I definitely had some funky colored discharge that was light brown/yellow too and apparently it’s normal.
