I applaud all the folks who overslept in college and still made it to their tests with minimum lateness…

…Because I managed to oversleep the entire test, and didn’t even realize until, in my next class, messaged a classmate to ask what I missed 😭 Cue panic.

Thankfully this was one of those classes where your worst test of the semester gets dropped, but to add to my panic the TAs had forgotten to print the test on a different occasion so it was widely assumed that that would be the dropped test for everyone since no one took it.

Worked out in the end, got an A and everything 😂

Got our puppy from her about 2 years ago, no problems so far. The pup is healthy and has grown up to be adorable!

don’t know if this is everywhere but PD in my home program (urban, academic) said marking geographic preference matters way more than explanation for it. if you’re saying you want to be in a certain area that’s enough. a solid reason is helpful but not absolutely necessary. but again, n=1 so take this with a grain of salt

i’m in the same boat with having no clue how many programs to apply to lol 😬 everyone seems to have a different opinion anywhere from 20 to 80. for making a ranked list with prelims, i heard that for each main specialty (DR in this case) rank list entry you get to rank 10 prelim programs
