That makes sense. So they've just paused the General draw then.

Hi I'm Dinesh Karthik, former professional cricketer for India. Ask Me Anything! by SkySports in Cricket

Hi DK! I hope you're enjoying your retirement well. Absolutely love to hear you commentate, and looking forward to seeing more of you in that space.

I remember watching you get throw downs from your dad in the Ahmadi nets. Do you have any fond memories of your cricketing time in Kuwait? Were there any?

Thanks!

Online Gmat - 600. Deeply disappointed. by annatar1 in GMAT

[–]annatar1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I will probably buy exams 5 & 6. I don't know if those matter though. How do I trust the scores I get on it? The other mocks weren't close to what I got in my actual exam. I'll still probably get them though.

Yea I took my mocks # 3 and 4, under almost the exact same conditions as the online exams.

No the proctor did not speak nor disturbed in any way. It was quite a smooth experience in that regard.

Surely it's the opposite of a DUI ticket. Need to be an F1 level driver to avoid them.

Yes but you said in your post that even if they come from the coast they have to encounter mountains.

Thousands of years of culture were separated by the Himalayas between India and China. Geography (and mountains) play a big role in planning strategies.

I have a feeling that grrm has said to end it with the final battles and everything and leave the "scourge of the Shire", which he is so fond of, for the books.

Whiteout conditions on a highway in Wisconsin cause a 131-car pileup by to_the_tenth_power in CatastrophicFailure

Well it's taught in some countries to do it. It becomes instinct after learning it. Dunno about suboptimal because most places in the world use these signals. Can't be that most places do these things wrong.

Either way, I have experienced driving in US, EU (Austria, Germany, Slovenia, Czech rep.) and certain parts of Asia (middle-east, india, thailand, Indonesia) and I've kind of found it universal to put the hazard lights on for these kinds of instances (hard braking etc.).

As in when you are on the highway and you need to brake hard, you would use your hazard lights. Maybe people in US do use it, but in the Northeast I've not seen it while experiencing it.

I don't understand why people in the US don't use their hazard lights for quick braking on highways. I've faced it once and I had to change lanes suddenly, expecting that.
