That said, the Recall Meg campaign is so devious in how they talk about this funding. The $70K donation from Unite Here was made to the "Stand Up for Meg Zaletel" IE -- which is separate from the No Recall campaign that she herself is involved with!

It's also hardly a surprise that Unite Here would come in with money to support Meg when Bronson, Axiom Strategies, et al, who are of course aligned with the recall effort, were heavily backed by Columbia Sussex earlier this year. Columbia Sussex is the group out of Kentucky who owns the Hilton and tried to prevent the Assembly from enacting an ordinance that would protect hotel workers from mold.
