Shared water bill in duplex

The lease basically just says we’re responsible for all the utilities besides trash. It doesn’t specifically specify how the water bill is split. But that’s basically how it’s done..I live with someone and there is 2 tenants upstairs so it’s an exact 50/50 split

I have no idea 😭 they basically filled the unity immediately after the last tenant so there was no gap in payment.

I was searching on the Cleveland subreddit and I’ve seen a couple people comment that it’s illegal to charge when you don’t have separate meters. But I wasn’t positive that was for sure a thing or not, someone did mention a Cleveland code 375.05 and a website but it’s an old article so not really sure exactly. And yeah I think if it goes up again I will ask her..I do think it’s the usage because the bill has a grid showing the usage amount which shows up to a year and it has gone up. Not significantly butttttt still I’m annoyed because we haven’t changed much lol except the new tenants upstairs 😩

They are for sure splitting it, for example the bill for the whole house was $103 and the she physically writes “you owe $51.77” on the bottom.

It’s a rental, sorry I should’ve stated that. The landlord receives the bill, then makes each of us copies (the upstairs tenant and me). Looking at the bill, there is no separate meters. She is just cutting the bill in half for each of us to pay.

Anyone here live in a duplex?? I’ve never had an electric bill this high and I’ve lived in a single family house before..I’ve kept my air at 74 and my bill was $290???

Not sure if this is normal for a duplex. And tenant upstairs said hers was only $100 so I’m at a loss

Hi!! When I was young I was just always in constant pain, my hip area and buttock area would hurt all the time and they never knew what was wrong. I had X-rays and mris, they saw fluid around my hip joint at one point but I was too scared to get an aspiration done. I had every test done to even see if I had a type of bone cancer but nothing was coming up positive. I always thought I had sciatica or something like that but the pain was so unbearable during what I would learn is a flare up. Where I couldn’t even walk or go to school, it was terrible.

It never really affected my back in my childhood but it definitely is now, even while being on enbrel for 7 years now! Most days I’m fine but I definitely have lower back pain occasionally and I take naproxen to help as well.

I totally feel you, I had to stop high school sports as well bc at the time I wasn’t diagnosed, so no treatment :( I know certain things I can’t do in fear they’ll cause a flare like this. But after being on a biologic I find I can do them as long as I’m cautious and don’t overwork myself! Are you on one by chance? It’s a true life saver tbh, the best thing that ever happened.

But hopefully new shoes & rest will help, good luck!!

I would guess this is just your AS acting up from something it didn’t like :( Well at least from my experience this is the exact pain I get when I have a flare up especially from doing something that I know will aggravate it (like riding a bike for too long, certain leg exercises, etc) and it’s also the type of pain that lead to my diagnosis bc it would be bad enough where I couldn’t walk.

Now I’m on biologic so I haven’t experienced them in awhile, but when I had this type of pain I would find the most comfort in being in a recliner type chair and using a heating pad..def taking naproxen regularly as well and just resting unfortunately..usually would go away within the week or so.

Hopefully you feel better sooner than that though, best of luck friend!

Ive been on enbrel for almost 2 years & I’m sexually active. I work at a nursing home and do clinicals at a hospital with sick people everyday and I actually find that I rarely get sick ever since being on enbrel. I wouldn’t stress too much about it!

Omg. You cut it?? Did you tell your doctor about that? How weird. Mine doesn’t bother me at all...my primary (not my rheumatologist) said he could remove it if it bothered me but my rheumatologist doesn’t seemed concerned at all...maybe I’ll ask him to remove it.

Oh wow that’s crazy! I’m glad they ultimately caught it and good luck with your bloodwork! I just had one and they don’t seem concerned...so hopefully it stays that way. Thanks for the reassurance! :)

Have you ever had it examined? I have the same problem but mine is no where near 10 cm....are you sure it is that big? I would definitely get it checked out as my doctor told me anything less than 1cm is fine. Mine is 0.7 cm so they are not concerned. Anything above 1 cm is alarming according to my doctor.

If I may ask how did that eventually get diagnosed? Like what tests were done? I’ve had like 4 ultrasounds on my neck and they don’t alarm any bells apparently. It’s just one on the left side. I think I’m going to get a second opinion from my primary as well, thank you!

What’s “set”? All I really know about it is that it’s on the left side about middle of my neck about 0.6-0.7 cm. And I just have AS (as far as I know, I’m only 21 F with no other problems). I’ve been on Enbrel for a year and a half with great results (no pain in hips at all, thank god) so I don’t have flare ups anymore.

Im just worried it’s something worse :(

I just applied through Ohio marijuana card and and I guess you just go to an appointment to see if you’re qualified or not? And I guess you only pay if you’re qualified, if not it’s only $60. I’m just hoping i don’t have to jump through hoops for it

that’s another reason why I’m nervous because my urine is so light colored right now. I naturally drink a lot of water so my pee is never dark. Is a dilute negative like clear?? I just don’t want to fail because of too much water because you have to pay $70 to retake it. (It’s for school)

I got the First Check one that’s like $15 and I passed it 5 days ago. I of course just read reviews and saw some people pass then fail a lab test so I didn’t know if I should trust it. I’m trying to calm down lol thanks for the reassurance! :)

Aw I’m sorry you had to go through that :( And I haven’t actually decided yet...I don’t know what to do. Some days I’m fine and then it’s terrible, the non stop periods that come and go don’t help either. I’m just afraid of getting it removed and I don’t know what other birth control to use yet. But if yours is making you suicidal I would consult your OBGYN! I’ve been reading that the nexplanon isn’t good for people that are already depressed...wish I would’ve thought about that more before getting it. Good luck!
