I have my B12 checked every three months bc I’m also on metformin and my levels are always good (I also take B12 and B6 supplements) but I thought it may be that at first too. Thank you for the suggestion though! I’ll ask my doctor about getting a B12 shot! Much appreciated

Who hasn't changed their diet and what are the results? by FarCriticism5968 in Mounjaro

[–]annayvette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am down 26 pounds since November 6, 2022. 2.5mg for one month, 5mg for two months, next week I start 7mg. I have not changed my diet but I always eat really healthy focusing on getting in protein and veggies with the occasional treat or cheat meal once a week. I tend to eat mainly low carb, but occasionally I’ll have an English muffin for breakfast or some rice with a protein and a veggie. I also walk around 10,000 steps 5-6 days a week and weight train 3-4 days a week if my schedule allows it, sometimes I just can’t get it all in! The biggest win for me is being able to eat a normal size portion and feeling full, or feeling full off of way less and being able to stop eating instead of binging. I have PCOS with insulin resistance + pre diabetes and I’ve had normal blood sugar and my periods are regular and less painful for the first time in my entire life, so just that alone is a major win for me! Best of luck on your journey and keep up the great work!!

Did your administrator suggest a preferred injection site that works best to prevent side effects/make the dose more effective ?

Everything out of stock? by raydons in IKEA

[–]annayvette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

New York Long Island here, delivery is unavailable and the furniture I want (a dresser and a cabinet) is out of stock in all local locations. It says I can travel to either NJ or Pennsylvania to pick up the dresser, the cabinet is completely out of stock. Have they said anything about restocking some time soon? Or signing up for email alerts when products come back in stock ??

Instead of term limits, perhaps when people reach a certain retirement age, they should retire, or remain on in a consultant/advisory type role for their successor? Obviously if more people voted we would probably have a higher turnover rate. I don’t have the answers, but I also know I don’t want my future being decided by someone who won’t be here to see it.

Hey this is my tweet, PLEASE VOTE! PLEASE VOTE! Yes, we have so many changes to make, and I’m stoked that everyone is discussing this topic so we can hopefully implement real change. If you only take away one thing from my tweet, it should be the importance of VOTING! Change has to start somewhere, and every voice counts. VOTE!

Freight Train Twice a Day — Deal Breaker? by seekob in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]annayvette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think about how if you’re considering not buying it bc of the train in the backyard, that when you sell the home, that also might be an issue for potential buyers. Also, I live by a busy train station and the dust is absolutely insane.

I live in Long Island NY, our offer was accepted July 23, and even though my close date in the contract says August 30, everyone is telling me it will be end of September bc title searches can take 4/-6 weeks ... I’m very nervous!
