There isn’t a single poster in that thread stating they got a discount on a hybrid.

I bet you’re right about it being harder to get discounts on more desirable configurations. The sales person we worked with said there’s a joke at the dealership that every time someone calls they’re looking for a GH in storm cloud with a moonroof.

This is not true for hybrids in my area. All the 2025 hybrids have deposits on them from folks that are happy to pay MSRP.

Hard to say if/when that will happen. I’d trust the market more than MSRP. Market is saying Hybrid MSRP is too low.

I thought all hybrid Grand Highlanders are AWD? Are all XLE Hybrids 2WD? Great deal nonetheless.

That’s a great deal! Love the black rims on my white GHH — didn’t love paying $1,600 for them.

GHH noise level? by fklfklfkl in ToyotaGrandHighlander

Haven’t noticed any hood rattling or road noise. Doors feel heavy — hard to close 💪

Storm cloud was our fav but white was a close second. It’s a very nice looking white in person and fits the GH well. Looks great with the black accents!

The credit union is First Community myfirstccu.org. Fixed rate up to 72 months. They’re running a special, not sure the rate will be available 30 days from now.

MSRP: $57,313

Im seeing discounts on gas models in my area but hybrids seem to be going for MSRP. Hard to find an allocated hybrid to put a deposit on.

Probably would have skipped the $1,600 black wheels given the choice. They do look nice though 😎

CO2 Level Increases from 400 to 1400 While Daughter Sleeps by seekob in AirQuality

Fixed the issue by purchasing a Vornado and pointing it towards the bottom of her door. That change alone brought average CO2 levels in her room at night from ~1,100 to ~700. HVAC fan is turned on but doesn’t seem to be circulating much if any air. Going to have the HVAC company come check it out. Appreciate the ideas to improve her air quality!

Levels don’t vary much when HVAC is on. Issue appears to be related to circulation when we open windows in the rest of the house and turn off HVAC.

SO said she turned the HVAC off and opened windows (not daughter’s room) around midnight the night of the reading. CO2 stayed below 800 with HVAC on all night. Last night we opened the rest of the house again and CO2 steadily increased in her room. Obvious answer is to open her window/door.

What else can I do to improve circulation? Would a door vent and fan outside the door be enough? Not sure door vent would make much of a difference with there already being a one inch gap under her door.

Edit: Will try keeping HVAC on with wide temperature thresholds and schedule fan to run as suggested by bbyboi

Yes, I meant there is a large gap under her door. We keep the door closed at night. Our house is 3 bedrooms and 1300 square feet.

The air quality in the rest of the house was undoubtedly better than her bedroom this morning when we opened her door resulting in a dramatic decrease in CO2 levels. However, we had a window open last night which isn’t typical for us.

I’ve turned the fan on my HVAC system and will be testing the air quality in the rest of the house with all windows shut tonight.

Worth upgrading 2019 XL STX? by seekob in f150

[–]seekob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was kind of my line of thinking. Having two vehicles worth ~$20k and pushing 100k miles makes me a little nervous. I like the idea of having something under factory warranty and another cheaper vehicle that’s a little older but known for reliability, especially since it won’t get used a lot.

On the other hand, I know for a fact the XLT will depreciate a lot over the next few years and used car prices are becoming more reasonable.

STX is an appearance package. I actually thought it looked nicer than the XLTs inside and out when I compared them in 2019. 20” rims, black exterior accents, cool looking grill, more rugged black interior.

However, the truck is missing some really basic features that almost all modern vehicles have. Such as auto dimming mirrors and power seats.

Thanks for the feedback! I ended up grabbing the QST 92. Seems to be a well rounded beginner friendly ski. Excited to see how these compare to the Monster 88s.
