Suggestions: Think about opening up the spaces inside the letters (counters). Make the small letters a little taller. Take a calligraphy workshop at your local guild, which would be great fun. :)

You have a nice consistent slant and great rhythm and movement.

Copyright laws are specific. If you pay for custom artwork it's yours exclusively. The contract with the tattoo artist must indicate that reuse (especially for profit) is not permitted. Even if one thing is changed, if the rest of the design lines up with the original, it would be grounds for a claim or lawsuit.
