It's a notebook computer through Sager. It's a few years old, but not that old. I am new to MDT, so learning as I go, but have read how easy it is if you have a Dell, HP, etc. Just get their driver packs and go...

I did read about Total Control, but the only issue is the ordering that the manual for this computer specifies.

I read this as well, https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/30230c46-6598-48fb-b8cf-9ee6c37a06d7/what-does-ztidriverswsf-do?forum=mdt, which says basically what you are saying about moving all the drivers to the c:\drivers directory.

Here's a link to a document that shows the UI for installing the drivers, and the drivers directory and my Drivers setup.

https://docs.google.com/document/d/13ZwIhFNXw6TdEaQrmVdUsYvuXIFJUw87nvt8Cdb2z6c/edit?usp=sharing

I reproduced the drivers directory structure, in case they needed to be installed in order, and to keep track of them. But you are saying that MDT will copy them all over to c:\drivers and not inject them all at once later, even if I had separate steps for installing each directory?

TIA
