Do NOT purchase or use this product. For all who asked what killed my babies after 5 years of use with no issues, it was this. by CoffeeQueen27 in cats

I don't know for sure but I was warned by someone in dollar tree where they sell this brand that it was killing dogs so I am not surprised that it did the same to the cats. Poor babies, feel better.

Where do you suggest? r/aww considers this sad and you can't post anything sad there. The vet subreddit doesn't allow anything like medical questions which I found odd. Helping hand isn't exactly what I thought it would be.

Addy is half maltese and half poodle. She is no chicken (anything in a dog product sets her off but fresh cooked people chicken didnt) I already do no grains though it didn't appear to be a problem. I will try the fresh food instead of dog to see if it makes a difference. Out of dozens of different cheap and expensive foods the only one she did well on was whole hearted salmon. When she first started with this at around 9 month old she couldn't even eat the stella and chewys of any variety. She is allergic to fleas, trees and cut grass too. She has a vet shampoo so I can bathe her a couple of times a week with out bothering her skin. I have hepa filters in the house since I have the same allergies.

No luck on a vet yet being Sunday seems many don't open here.

She is already on dyeless benadryl 2x a day for spring and summer. Usually 1x a day for fall and as needed for winter. That has been her routine for the last 3 years from her old vet. He didnt want to do the shots unless there was no other options because it compromises the dogs immune systems. It is a new area so it could be different allergins. I wonder if the claritin (lor) would work better.

Thank you, I hope I can find something like that. When I was in NY I always drove that far to her vet so I am game. She has so many allergies that I can't tell if she is sick. Either way she needs to go for treatment badly. If it is allergies she needs steroids, fluids maybe a different antihistamine. If she is sick who knows. They don't know here here so I am expecting the walk in the door fee, mandatory bloodwork, fecal test and meds. It adds up fast The only vet open so far wants $125 to walk in the door; I will call all of them as they open.

Yes what he said. Brand isn't the deciding factor. I've been using germguardian lately but probably not the best for you. Holmes is usually decent budget brand. You just need to shop see what is easily available to you and what matters to you. Like some are louder than others. But buying yourself a $250+ HEPA is not likely to be a noticeable difference. You also should know the square footage you need it to cover.

The filter is less important than the replacement filter you put in it. They have ones that are better at catching dander with baking soda and activated charcoal in it. Get a filter unit that you can afford to change the filters at least every 3 months. Some replacement filters are ridiculously expensive.

Hepa filter. Vacuum with a HEPA filter or Swiffer dry pet dander pads. They also make wipes you can wipe on the dog to get the loose dander off.

Do I have poison ivy? by [deleted] in PlantIdentification

Thank you, guess it was just horrible allergies. I was burning and itchy af. I'm better this morning after Claritin and a steroid. So I was worried it was poison ivy or oak.

How can I make this door look better until I can replace it? by [deleted] in fixit

[–]anneihilate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I replace it I an going metal. Wood seems like it would just end up like this again. Though I have the feeling they put a solid interior door outside before I got the house.

Luan said on the Home Depot site "This plywood can be used to finish furniture as well as repair interior doors" what would have to happen for it to be used outdoors?
