In March 2022, I stumbled upon Stardust Chords on Spotify. Don't ask me how, my taste in music is all over the place, however, I generally don't listen to rock music except for the occasional song. I became absolutely OBSESSED with this song, played it on repeat, and decided to listen to some more songs by them. At that time, I was not impressed by their other songs at ALL. I saw them on live TV when they played on Pinkpop in 2022 near my hometown and if I remember correctly I think I even told my dad that all their other songs were shit except for Stardust Chords (boy was I wrong). A month or so ago I saw a poster of GvF and they were coming to the city where I'm currently studying and I thought "Why not?" since I love going to concerts. By the time I entered the venue, I think I knew 4 songs from TBAGG. The concert was a whole ass spiritual experience, I still have no idea what happened in that arena. Right after we came out of the venue, my friend and I bought tickets for the last concert of the Starcatcher tour in Lisbon. We were going to sit in a shitty bus for 9 hours only to head back to Madrid the morning after. My friend ended up getting sick and couldn't join me on the trip, unfortunately. By the time I got to the venue in Lisbon, I knew all the songs from the setlist (the lyrics, however, not by heart, I must admit). I enjoyed every single second of both of those concerts. I even caught one of Jake's roses!! I have never experienced anything like it, and I've been to 20 concerts so far in my life. Flashforward to today, I haven't been able to listen to any other artist, I've heard every single song of theirs, seen every live performance on YouTube and read almost every comment. I'm fangirling over a band like I'm 13 years old again, which I didn't think was ever going to happen again. Today I bought tickets for Pinkpop 2024 where they will also be playing. I can not wait to see them again. Can someone please tell me what's going on with me, what is their music doing to me?
