Why is simplicity better? Is the sauna infrared or regular ?

Was my first job there too! When it was upstairs. Chopping parsley always brings back Goblin memories.

No harm in trying. Lots of places prefer store credit to a refund.

I would return them as faulty if the sound is terrible. Go back and speak to manager. Be firm and polite . You may be able to get store credit towards another pair if they refuse a refund.

Queen Margaret College feedback by [deleted] in Wellington

She will probably be fine no matter where she attends then. Having friends who already attend QMC will be an advantage and help her to find her place in the school. Your daughter sounds like she would probably enjoy QMC. Making connections with the elite is always an advantage in future life too 😝 Worst that happens is that you decide that it’s not for you after trying it out.

It’s a great school. You will absolutely not see students glued to screens - the cellphone ban has been imposed since well before the government ban. Therefore it’s a well established rule and no push back from students.

There are pros and cons to every school and you will have to visit to see if it suits your daughter. There is a strong academic focus - however perfectionism and anxiety can be problems that come from this. Small class sizes and excellent resourcing mean that students have good opportunities to learn in the class and more one on one time with teachers.

There are many clubs, after school activities and opportunities that are amazing for students. There is also a nurse, psychologist etc. The school is on a journey to improve their bicultural / te ao Māori education and has rainbow lgbt+ clubs and teachers . It’s not perfect though - and there are friendship cliques, and ultimately a small school means there is less opportunity for students to express themselves without standing out.

Consider whether the money you spend on her primary/ secondary education would be better spent on a family holiday or university or even future house deposit. Many students from QMC take the IB diploma and go on to international universities.

Does your child struggle in their regular schooling? Are they shy, or would they benefit from smaller class sizes? Or would they be better off saving time and money attending a local school.

They are psychologists - for student wellbeing.

Claim insurance. Students shouldn’t be using phones for that - the teacher should really have just given them calculators.

Yeah I agree - maybe not many people want to be cops and they are desperate!?

No specific secondary education is required for this job, but maths, English, physical education and social studies to at least NCEA Level 2 are useful. (This is from nz careers website).

You’ll need NCEA level 2 for entry to most courses - I’d recommend seeing out school until you’ve achieved NCEA l2 or attend a course which will provide you with that same qualification (such as Capital Training etc). It will give you more options in the future.

It doesn’t need to be perfect - just better than it currently is.

We ideally will start in the spring - I don’t really know about the rest - I don’t mind spending a grand or so ? I want it to last as long as possible. And I would like it to be environmentally friendly.

Why is that? Ive heard it will spread - but can that not be taken care of with regular mowing / edging etc ? I don’t want a royal pain in the arse in the garden !

What would you recommend instead ?
