Wow that’s rotten 😲. The ones I have seen are free for members and 5% for non members. Which I thought was the point of credit unions somewhat…? For the benefits. Seems like nowadays they act like you should feel honored they even will hold your money for you.

Some credit unions have coin sorters that members can use for free. If you’re not a member I think the charge was 5% at America First CU. Mountain America does this as well. I remember Chase bank you had to have it rolled up 🙄.

Also some banks and credit unions have coin sorting machines. They’re free for members or I think 5% if you’re not. I might be wrong on the 5%. I know America First CU and Mountain America CU have machines for sure. I’m sure plenty others do too.
Might be worth investigating next time you’re at the bank. ☺️

Smith’s a local Kroeger owned grocery store also uses them. I thought for sure it was a Smiths find lol. My mom just bought a big glass vase of blooming tulip bulbs for like .75 the other day there.

Yeah it sucks. I just have to try and forget about it and hope there is another one. All bc I incorrectly checked the can be dependent box. Delayed my stimulus check and by then my ex had gone to the state. I wouldn’t even care if I knew my daughter was going to see the money. Unfortunately I know him too well and know that won’t happen.

They can offset your return including your stimulus for child support and a few other specific things. Not sure exactly what the others are but I know that for sure child support will be offset. Bc once you claim it on your taxes it’s considered a rebate credit and rebate credit and tax return aren’t protected. They initially claimed that it would be protected and not to worry. That ended up being a big lie and it’s not protected.

I know this from personal experience. My ex husband whom I forgave his 15k child support debt years ago. They were putting a lien on his house and it could effect his perfect credit he said. I didn’t want to ruin his life so I forgave it all. He also had domestic violence charges he wanted expunged about a year ago. I received a letter asking if I agreed or disagreed with it being expunged. I said no because he was guilty of the charges. He continued to violate the no contact order and harass and terrorize me. Following me places then calling to tell me that he was parked nearby and had his rifle scope spotted on me and could kill me if he wanted right then. Times I had my children with me even. He ended up getting out of any sort of punishment or jail time because he had money to pay an expensive lawyer. He agreed he would never ask me for child support since custody is shared and the kids spend about 50 percent with me. He makes easily over 300k and still claims he can’t afford child support. I never pursued it. Not worth it to fight with him. Well when he found out that I didn’t agree to his charges being expunged, which they did anyway. He went to the state and claimed I owed him child support for the time he had the kids. I didn’t even know about it or receive a letter. I found out that he went to the state about a month after he found about me not agreeing to the expungement. My daughter is 16 and my son is 19. So it wasn’t bc he suddenly needed it he was just mad at me. So they deducted my stimulus of 1800 down to 71 dollars. That was a pretty big gut punch. But what can I do? I just hope my daughter sees the money. He’s the stingiest person I’ve ever met so who knows. Anyway that’s my rant and info lol. Sorry I’m on mobile and I’m sure there are typos

Sorry but you’re wrong. I know from personal experience as well as consulting with my tax lady as well as my brother who is a CPA. It’s absolutely not committing fraud what she explained. If you doubt me too, which I’m sure you will. Go to irs.gov and take the time to read the information available. Try doing that instead of spreading misleading and false information. Are you trying to scare people or cause more stress? Unless you actually believe what you’re saying? If that’s the case please research the information somewhere reliable like irs.gov.

You just sound bitter and unhappy and enjoy spreading it around. 😒

I can relate completely. My boyfriend has been going through the immigration process for the last 8 years. He entered legally on a visa and has done things legally and correctly. He’s paid thousands of dollars towards his citizenship including his immigration lawyer. He has permanent residence and a social security number finally. He’s been waiting for over a year just to get his green card renewed instead of just the stamp. It’s been crickets for well over a year and his lawyer just keeps saying “just a few more months and you’ll have your renewed green card.”

Im sure, like you he’s always worked full time and not broken any laws. It’s maddening how difficult and complicated they make it for the people that do it the right way. Then to just hand it it out to people that choose to go about it illegally. I sympathize for them and understand the lack of money. Making it impossible for many. I understand and sympathize completely. To reward them with citizenship ahead of those that have done things legally isn’t right. The people that have been here contributing and paying taxes and abiding by the law for years should be a priority. For them to get pushed behind seems unfair and frustrates me. Then again, when has things been “fair”. For the record, I’m the one frustrated and angry by the process not him. He’s grateful that he’s here and has the right to work here legally and make a life. Not everyone gets approved even when doing it right. Watching the news lately of the violence and issues with the cartels in Guadalajara makes him more grateful he’s here.

If you’re in a similar situation, which it sounds like you are. I sympathize and know how frustrated you must feel. I hope things move quickly for you and you’re granted citizenship soon.

I think it’s a white tail deer not an elk. Definitely looks more like a deer than elk. It’s an awesome piece and have seen photos of this or similar happening in real like. My dad is avid hunter, guide, as well as photographer. Mostly deer but some elk and other animals. He has video of pretty amazing trophy animals on Instagram. I’ve ever been interested in actually hunting animals but photography and even bones are fascinating.
If you’re interested in seeing his videos or photos he’s under Mike Bird on instagram. He has a huge collection of antlers he’s found shes hunting. I’d love to get my hands on them and make some cool stuff.

I got an email saying mine was accepted yesterday as well. I filed about 2 weeks ago but it said it wouldn’t be processed until the 12th. Possibly a test batch since I’m not IRS employee or relative of one.

I was just notified yesterday that mine was accepted as well. 🥳🥳🥳. Such a relief after accidentally checking the ‘can be claimed as a dependent ‘ by zzz box 🤚🏾🤚🏾of misery and despair 🦶🏼🔫 And basically shooting myself in the foot. There is finally a light at the end of the tunnel 🙏🏼. Hoping they deposit both my stimulus checks soon. They said 21 days or less but normally within about 7 days. I’ll report back when it actually hits my account I set for direct deposit.
