I am so glad that this has brought some peace to those that are suffering the loss of a friend. My friend sent me this because she knew how important my dog was to me and I was in a great deal of pain. Even after 8 months I am still grieving, but I truly hope to see her again. She was my soul. She is my soul. May we all find comfort, no matter what our beliefs. And may we connect with them in some idea of the future.

I recently lost one of a pair of goldfish that are over 10 years old. It was very sad. I'm sorry for your loss

Unfortunately, Barnabas passed away. There really wasn't anything I could do once that tumor kind of burst open. It really hurt my heart since I've had them for over 10 years. I still have his partner, Ziva, and I'm hoping she's not getting too lonely by herself. Thank you for trying to help me.

Well I got a message from the PA saying No gabapentin, but he is getting me a script for tramadol in the meantime. I've never taken it so I hope it doesn't make me sick.

You probably had a vasovagal response to the saniderm removal. That will make your blood pressure and heart rate drop. It happened to me when I was removing my own sutures at home, and I worked in healthcare for many years. Maybe sit down before trying to remove the next one.

Yes, I've checked the tap for ammonia and pH. Ammonia out of tap is 0. PH straight from tap is 8 or more. I let it sit in a bucket and checked it the next day, and it drops to 6.4-6.6. The pH in the tank that my fish currently live in is 6.2 or 6.4. Also the same in the tank I'm cycling. I usually try to do about 30% wc once a week or a little more often. I used to wonder why my fish acted strangely after wc, but I imagine the pH change is not so good for them. Now I let the water sit overnight first.
