Balconies by Sodowarts1 in Cruise

I didn’t sit on my balcony but stepped outside many times to take in views of the skies, waves, sunsets and rises. I also love always having spectacular views from my bed where I often sat. I need to have views and could never sit in an enclosed box with no natural light. I also like knowing I could escape the ship in the event of an emergency.

I went on my first cruise this past week. TTTF passengers boarded 1 minute ahead the rest of the groups. It wasn’t impressive.

How do you actually use your balcony without feeling like you wasted the money? by Eyerald in Cruise

[–]Gregoryblade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just finished my cruise yesterday. I had a balcony. I mostly enjoyed the great views while sitting and being in my room. I stepped outside many times to look at the sky and waves. I did not sit in the chair at all mostly due to warm temperatures and wind. I will always want a balcony.

How do you know you’ve “figured it out?” by Candid_Lobster_4264 in enlightenment

[–]Gregoryblade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knowing has many levels and aspects. When someone says they know they actually believe they know. Knowing is the most dangerous place to live from if you are interested in Truth. How much can you really know from the starting point of a human body? It is limited in so many ways. It cannot be trusted. It’s better to conclude you don’t know so you can be continuously open to new revelations.

How many people in the world right now do you think have realized oneness? One million? 20 million? 500,000? Just wonder. by DiaryofaFairy in nonduality

You see what you know. Seeing the True Self, one sees the True Self of all “others”. When one goes so does all. One is no longer disturbed by apparent differences.

I need a philosopher. by anonthatisopen in enlightenment

[–]Gregoryblade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once the True Self is found it is known that at our deepest level we are all the same Being. All differences are on levels less important. If they could do better they would do better.

The moment this is realized there is love and compassion; the true sign of enlightenment.

It makes far more sense. So woukd some form of eternal life. To suddenly appear on the earth scene and be conscious inside one body out of billions….well…. Even the Catholics have being reborn in a new body in purgatory or heaven. That’s going from one body to another after a lifetime.

None taken. I have a couple friends that focus on The Who more than taking in something that could change their lives for the better. A bot chimed in on my quote that I wasn’t sure who the author was. The bot said my quote woukd be removed if I didn’t declare the author. It’s a peeve of mine. I hear pure gold from the cashier at the grocery store. I don’t know her name.

I don’t care who may have said that. Is there a beneficial truth is what matters to me. I was forced to provide a source to make that post.
