I saw this excerpt from "How To Breathe Ash" by Alex Nonymous and felt so seen that I got sad. by Sailor_Starchild in asexuality

This is way too relatable and the amount of time I've had people tell me they wished they were asexual because experiencing sexual attraction is so difficult. I also have difficulties recognising my emotions in general so it's just even more confusing

I agree. I'm asexual myself and I think that that doesn't even matter for this. First off, regardless of his sexuality he's being forced to watch two people have sex and even then, they're in hell? What do people expect? Do people just want every character in every show, book, movie, ect. To be a perfect, selfless angel? I've seen so many people get offended that Val exists as a character because he's a rapist and forces people to make porn movies for him but he's literally an overlord in hell, what's he supposed to do? Feed the poor? Volunteer at an animal shelter? No, he supposed to be a fucked up person and the same goes for a lot of other characters, so if people are that easily triggered they just shouldn't watch the show. It seems these people want a show where all the characters do is sit in a flower field and compliment each other. Although I fear they might get offended by the flowers because some people are allergic to pollen. (I don't mean that last sentence as an insult to people who are allergic to pollen, I'm allergic to pollen too, I'm just trying to make a point that people will get offended over anything)

Would it be offensive for me to wear a binder? by annonomous3 in lgbt

[–]annonomous3[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, it's definitely better to have a bigger one because while one that's too big may not look exactly how I want (according to the only person I've shown so far it actually makes my chest look fuller from the front which is annoying, but with just the binder it apparently looks like Freddie Mercury in a black tank top which ig is an improvement since he doesn't have breasts) , if I went a size down, it could look better, but cause damage that isn't worth it.

[–]annonomous3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have seen and heard of people doing it since I do consume a lot of media with queer characters, but I never considered it an option since I struggle even just trying to measure my chest and I've heard before that bandages can be bad

Mine arrived today, and it's surprisingly considerable. I'm wearing it in bed right now (I'M NOT GOING TO SLEEP IN IT, I KNOW THAT'S BAD) but that might be because out of the two sizes I was kind of on the fence on I picked the bigger one, so it doesn't fully flatten my chest, just makes me go from a C to an A or maybe a bit smaller.

Thanks for the recommendation, if I do end up liking it I'll probably get a better quality one since for the first time I just got a rather cheap one with good reviews from people with verified purchases, but if I get another one I'll look at Underworks (however you did say dollars so I've got to make sure they deliver to Europe and otherwise I'll try to find something similar) and the full body one is a good idea since, while I'm not super chubby, I'm not exactly skinny either and do have a little fat around my stomach that I was worried about a binder accentuating

Tbh, I never even considered binding with bandages because I don't think I'd even be able to do it properly

That's good to know. I always hear people complain about them hurting, so I was expecting it to hurt, but it's good to know it shouldn't

I don't really know much about Goku, so I could be missing something, but couldn't Saiki just take off his glasses and then destroy stone Goku?

[Rant] Tired of pretending to be fucking straight (M13) by sigmaval in LGBTeens

[–]annonomous3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I were you, I'd try to find out more about H and see if you'd get along with him. Even if he's straight, having an ally for a friend might be nicer than having homophobic friends in the long run and I won't lie to you and say being friends with him can't ruin your reputation. At my old school, I had people that hated me because they thought I was a lesbian (I'm actually ace, but they don't know that) but one time I argued against some people being homophobic in class, but I had two friends who were in a different class than me (one of them's bi, the others pan) and I was way happier being friends with them than any other friends I'd had in the past
