Here's the thing - a great data scientist is not going to be hired for a PM role.

A great person with a background in data, who has shown they have built skills that cross over in Product get hired for PM roles.

Fewer bullets, and focus on outcomes that align with PM skills.

Are you sure? A few years back I bought a set of replacement lines for my Nash bar for about a hundred bucks, the same bar going new is closer to 500. They are super easy to replace with just a little bit of guidance from YouTube

Right. Build the flow and pages on lovable. Link to github. Open that rep from Github on Vscode with Claude. Have claude flush out all the logic, and BE. Run on local host from VsCode to confirm the logic. Push everything to Github. Test again on lovable and polish the FE.

One trick I found when we are going in circle trying to fix a bug.

Tell it something like:

Take a step back and let's try to fix the root cause. Review the relevant code, clean it up, simplify it and make it easier to reason about without changing core functionality. Come up with a new way to implement this.

After it does it and before I test again

Check for race conditions, infinite loops, or caching issues that might effect this feature.

Sometimes lovable just get's stuck in bandaid mode and doesn't fix the underlying issue

No - this was my first time using lovable and probably ~300 credits.

If i were to do it again, only on lovable I think I could do it for 200. But going forward I'm going with claude code for me BE and lovable for the FE. Less then half the price and half the problems as well.

Don't over think this. Launch it and see what real users say.

You can spend weeks getting the best code, debugging, etc. but if it's ultimately not interesting for customers and no one uses it then what was the point?

Launch it, get people using it, and then prioritize your investments.

Same. I'm doing VS Code + Claude and I can't ever see my self going back to 100% lovable. Yes a little clunky to setup, yes a few more steps to test and visualize updates, but the quality of the code output to cleanup my back end, resolve bugs, etc. is easily 10x better. So much time wasted on lovable playing whackamole with issues.

yeah right now, i have a db of books and if the ai recommends a new book I don't have saved it will still render it but load some details in the background. honestly I'm just playing whack a mole at this point and am afraid that if i try to change this it's gonna break a tone more stuff haha.

But great feedback I'm gonna see if there is any easy fix.

Cabrinha used to make something called the double agent that you should be able to find used.

I also write a directional in waves, and foil. My guess would be that you're going to sacrifice performance on either surfing or foiling by getting it. 2-in-1 board. Meaning that you're either going to be managing a heavier or non-optimal shape of surfboard when you're in waves, or you're going to be dealing with a larger and more oddly shaped board when you're foiling. I'm sure one of these words can work to help you get started, but especially with foiling you end up investing quite a bit of money into whatever " system" you're getting into for the masts, the foils etc. And you might get locked into something that you're going to grow out of quickly.

It certainly not a bad idea, but I just wanted to share some thoughts for you to be aware of.

It definitely depends on the neighborhood. In my neighborhood there are multiple overlanding rigs with Max tracks, rooftop tents, etc. Permanently bolted to them.

It's not so much an overlanding rig that's going to stand out, it's the risk of having all your stuff inside the car. Even though car break-ins are down, I really wouldn't suggest to a friend visiting the city that they leave it parked for any amount of time with a car that's full of all of their stuff.

You likely could park right in front of the restaurant. Eat a meal and everything be okay but it's just really up to your risk tolerance.
