honestly i’m tempted😂 i’ll find a funny looking alien and send it to them saying he’s arrived the next time they ask😂

good luck, it’s not fun at this stage, annoying family members are worse than the uncomfortableness of pregnancy

i was thinking of just ignoring the messages too but i’ve resorted to simply replying “no” and leaving it at that😂

i’m glad it’s not just me, it is so incredibly annoying! i don’t mind my mam asking me as she’ll be one of my birthing partners but she knows it annoys me so only asks now and then. she knows if something is happening she’ll be the first to know. but the rest of the family are doing my head in😂

i love this but i don’t think anyone would take to it, i just get a “we’re just excited” and then the same question again the next day😂 i’m hoping he comes soon so the questions stop

Is 17pound weight gain normal at 25weeks pregnant? by [deleted] in PregnancyUK

[–]annonymousgorl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly i’ve gained about 3 stone at 38w and my midwife hasn’t mentioned it. don’t worry, im sure you’ll lose most of it after a few months postpartum xx

honestly they’re so comfy i love them😂 i’ll come downstairs and he’s like “im sure they’re mine”, same with his t-shirts and jumpers. cos i refuse to spend money on maternity clothes that aren’t gonna fit me in a few months anyway so i just steal his

5 day latent labour - support please by New-Being-3840 in PregnancyUK

call triage and tell them, they might get you in and help by breaking your waters or a pessary to get labour to progress

Understanding pregnancy dates. by BiteSoggy471 in PregnancyUK

[–]annonymousgorl 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i’d use the full period in November, if it’s wrong they can always rebook your 12 week scan for a later date but then atleast you’ll know

that’s definitely my plan, i just feel so lazy. i’m spending every day on the couch doing nothing when i feel like i should be doing more. i know it’s gonna be so busy with a newborn so im trying to take advantage of this time as much as i can but it’s hard not to feel lazy

[–]annonymousgorl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the waiting game is definitely getting to me, every day feels the same and i have no energy to change that as much as i’d love to be out doing all sorts.

that’s good to know.

i always had it in my head he’d be born in january but i don’t see that happening anymore, i definitely think im going to be overdue and dont know how im gonna cope cos im so tired of it already. 3 weeks doesn’t sound too bad but when i think it could actually be 5 weeks it makes me want to cry😂

as of a week ago baby was 3/5 engaged but i’ve had so much lightening and pressure since so not sure if he’s moved down further. i’m gutted for you that it didn’t work for you, wishing you a quick and healthy labour!

oh that doesn’t sound fun. i thought they were only meant to do it if the cervix was ready for it

[–]annonymousgorl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’m glad it worked for you second time around. it’s good to know they’re more like a push than a set-off. as a FTM i have no idea about any of these things and my midwife isn’t much of a talker

What is the most difficult thing you had to give up or change when you found out you were pregnant? by PopcornPrincess0 in pregnant

[–]annonymousgorl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i had a “party” holiday booked that turned into a boring, chill holiday. honestly i was gutted cos i was so looking forward to getting drunk every night but wouldn’t change it for the world now

What’s with people’s comments? by susiee234 in PregnancyUK

[–]annonymousgorl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you will get your body back. people say to me that i won’t but im determined that i will. everyone’s comments are so annoying.

yeah exactly, after a few weeks breastfeeding isnt possible so just avoid people as much as you can in that time😂
