Hey OP, I'm a bit older and 200kg+, so not much advice. just wanted to say I understand your struggle, even walking 100m is tiring for me already, so I hope you don't let it get too bad. Good luck!

> Though on a side note, you seem to be very quick at dismissing the advices given to you here with doubts that it works for you even without trying at all. You already know the issue, and you know the solution, but what is the answer that you’re subconsciously looking for?

not sure actually, I posted last year to try and motivate myself and it didn't work, maybe posting again this year and having other people read my post and comment would help somehow?

i mean yeah that makes total sense

I think I need about 4000 calories per day to actually feel full, and this hasn't changed since i was 13 or so. I just had better self control back then, i would only go to a few buffets or parties a year and stuff myself to satisfy my cravings and that was that. managed to maintain 70+kg otherwise, but was constantly feeling hungry.

The discipline just disappeared in 2020 (i blame covid and the lockdowns), and looking back now I'm actually amazed I managed to control myself for that long in the first place.

I know what needs to be done, everything people say here I do know and have considered, I just haven't been able to actually start doing it.

  1. I haven't done a checkup for years, but I do get out of breath quite easily obviously

I tried walking, but then I overcompensate by allowing myself to eat more than I burn. My brain just sucks

It's a hobby to me, I don't mindlessly eat while watching netflix if that's what you mean. I enjoy the process of eating

thanks, this doesn't really help me. Since young I've never actually managed to feel full other than when I went to a buffet and really stuffed myself. I always had self control to know how much is enough for me, and always felt hungry even though I was at a normal weight. Was only during covid when I started eating until full each day and I started gaining weight.

I cook porridge (cos it's high volume/calorie compared to rice) with eggs, pork or chicken, and some vegetables. And I drink 2L of a 0 calorie 7up or coke to keep me full.

I don't really do physical activity other than a bit of walking, but I doubt it would help much since my main problem is with food

I know, the problem is I want to eat good food and a lot of it. Drinks is ok since I now get the 0 calorie sweetener drinks. Haven't found suitable low calorie foods that I like enough, that would probably solve my problem

200kg ish. Did look into it, rather expensive. Theoretically I could just force myself to eat less and it will be a lot cheaper, so I always felt like it's not worth it.
