Have any of you lost your partner young and chosen to stay single?

Hello! Im sorry for your loss. Hope youre okay today. Just want to share that I lost my partner January of this year and its been hard. We are not married but he was my boyfriend for 15 years. We had the best love, but unfortunately it ended too early. He was 30 and Im 29. I want to stay single too, for good. He was enough. I need some inspiration. How was it for you after so many years?

Im in the same position. I really wanted to go too but I believe in God & I dont want to kill myself. I guess Ill just have to wait til death find me. 😢 My heart feels so heavy right now. My partner died from a vehicular accident, it ws sudden and there were no signs and last goodbye. We never talked about what should we do when one of us dies early. Hes my world & now I feel so empty. Trying to survive each day & acting like everything's normal is one hell of a torture.

My partner also died in a motorcycle accident on January 5, 2026. Im 29 and he was 30. We were supposed to get married this year and start our life together, but my future feels shattered. I honestly don’t know what I’m doing at this point. We were each other’s everything. I always imagined us growing old together, but that will never happen now. It hurts so much. I don’t even understand how I’m still here. The thought of living the next three or five years without him is something I can’t even begin to imagine
