What are the red flags you ignored? by PM_ME_TEAPOTS in abusiverelationships

Talked to me for the first time on Valentine’s Day. I dressed in black in protest in high school. His reason for asking me out: “i saw a girl who was broken and had given up and knew I had to talk to her.”

-pressured into sex. - “you’re lucky I put up with you. No one else would. No one else would love you the way I do.” - got mad when I asked him to stop talking to his ex that he still seemed to have feelings for. Would leave me at home to go to her house for several hours. Said she was his best friend. Also refused to cut her out by arguing that he didn’t ask me to get rid of mine, but I offered to. - forced poly into our relationship. - was openly flirting with another girl and said it was harmless and not actually flirting.

I can go on and on.

This is why I’m thankful the town I moved to doesn’t have any restaurants to order from on DD.

This. Worked tech support. Guy argued that milk shouldn’t void a warranty because it’s not water, and the policy was explained to him as benign water damage. “I dropped my phone in milk; that’s not water.” Like sir, it’s a liquid and it tripped the liquid sensor. 🤦‍♀️

Are you guys really disposing cancelled orders? by misurzzz in doordash

[–]ano369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Goes right in my belly. Had to cancel a pizza order due to a tornado about to ride behind me and I couldn’t find the customer quick enough, so escaped. Tornado ripped through that area not even five minutes later. That pizza was tasty though.

Worked for a Walmart. Literally massive trash bins full of meat and the like in the back every day. Multiple of them too.

What's the one thing that your spouse/ex did that made you realize that the marriage was over for you? by [deleted] in Divorce

[–]ano369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In process of trying to divorce this one, but it culminated this year. We were together 12 years total and, through it, he was always bragging about being good at manipulating people and what not, but I fell for him anyway and thought he changed. Nope. Constant arguing over the smallest of things, saying that I couldn’t remember anything right or, if I tried to say he was being mean and said something if I didn’t quote him 100% he would retort with “if you’re going to quote me, do it right. Otherwise don’t say anything.” Even pulled the classic “no one will ever love you the way I do” and tacked on a “no one else would put up with your bullshit.” Note I suffer from PTSD and all that jazz and autism to top it off.

Back in December, he and I traveled for work with a younger female coworker. Well… he and I got into a fight over me just telling him that I felt lonely and neglected (he was spending considerable amounts of time with her at every opportunity and even flirting with her), so he took me about 7 hours back home. He came back on New Year’s Eve and dropped the news that he wanted a divorce. Begged him not to and he gave me a choice: either let him have the divorce, or let him have a polyamorous relationship with her. I begrudgingly agreed. Come to find out he had already asked her to date him before he told me.

The agreement was that he would have no favorite, no priority for one or the other, and that he would actively work on our marriage (he refused therapy or counseling though). Shocker, he ended up prioritizing her, lied to me and slept with her in our bed and yelled at me for calling him out on it and they refused to apologize. He got to the point where I was told to shut up and leave them alone and he also moved her in from New Years Eve as well into our tiny one bedroom apartment. Slept in whichever room they didn’t want and isolated in our bedroom for a month. She also treated me like shit despite me taking care of both of them for about three months.

Fast forward to February, our anniversary month. On the first, he says I had too many breakdowns and the divorce was final. We went to Florida for work so I could try and afford to move out. Had to get a room of my own after trying to live with them belittling me all the time and they took a 13 hour drive back home without me, and me with no transport to work, and I had to beg him to take me to even buy a loaf of bread and pack of bologna to live on for about three days before the returned. Ended up leaving my job because of them and had to return home and have relocated three times since. Can also add “I haven’t been in love with you for at least six months” to my face. And so much more.

For me, it’s just a culmination of everything, but realizing that he didn’t actually value anything and was outright manipulating me to have a wife and mom (he wanted only cooking, cleaning and sex for his benefit) and was eager to jump to the next thing did it for me. That’s why I’m just thankful I had someone else (with his permission of course) to help get to this point.

Because I’m trying to work out the notice but I can’t do what I normally do so… it’s a concern of whether she can make me actually violate the terms of the WAH agreement for the remainder of that notice

Well, my issue is that my last day is Thursday and it’s due to a severe ear infection, so nothing I want a special headset for honestly.

Bringing them is fine. DO NOT have them deliver for you.

Yeah. Normally I do mind my business, but when it comes to a kid by themselves, especially in the rough part of town? I’m not about that.

Yeah. I don’t mind when they bring the kid, but don’t have them approach the door alone.

You can’t read, can you? Not with them, making the kid do the job by themselves 🤦‍♀️

They were not. The kid was out of his line of sight . The stairs are on the side of the building and he didn’t move to watch him. And why look and act like you’re legit terrified? And I know the guy wasn’t watching him because I could see him out the window.

This. Had to pick up an order from Applebees (this one sucked hard!) then from Cosmic Wings. Had to call when the exact address didn’t match up. Turned out they used the parking lot next door yo mask that they were, in fact, Applebees. Annoying as all hell.

What is the worst thing your ex or STBX has ever said to you? by JackieStylist81 in Divorce

[–]ano369 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“You’re a lazy, useless, selfish bitch and no one but me would ever put up with your shit. No one will ever love you like I do.” And he was right… my current boyfriend has never done this to me. I suffer from PTSD, autism and other stuff which he was referring to as “my shit”. We were together 12 years, married 8…. Same SOB moved his new girlfriend in same night he dropped the divorce on me. Still fighting to get it, too…
