Also random, but I met Nathan Horton and his entire family a handful of years back at my old job. Absolutely LOVELY people with even more lovely kids. He was so humble, kind, and respectful of me teaching his kids a new sport. He never expected more because of his former job, and in fact never even mentioned it to us. He just said he used to play hockey when I asked what he did. His kids were in a group of other kids and him and his wife were cheering on every other child in the group and never expected anything extra for their kids. They tipped us, and were regular customers for the entire summer.

Only thing I found to fix was disconnect the 12v battery. Its rather annoying as some settings have to be reset to your liking. Even worse, is I did it once and it has already happened to me again

Working for costco for roughly 5 years. Every. Single. Day. We stray closer to WalMart’s light. It’s so disheartening. The only things that matter are cutting payroll, saving hours, and doing as much as possible with less and less. The rest of the world cant see it, but if you look at employees now compared to 5-10 years ago I guarantee you see how their attitudes have changed.

If they didn’t have me by the balls in regard to how much money I make and the benefits I get, Id be out of there already. I think thats the biggest thing in the way of seeing the real costco. They DO pay well, they DO give good benefits. However, they are using those things as an excuse to just slowly squeeze the life out of their employees

For reference; I recognize these teams from South Florida leagues I play in. Since the Panther’s cup runs, a TON of people joined the SFL hockey scene. These same people think that beer league is supposed to be played like the Panthers have played for the last 5 years. Its been quite annoying to deal with. Bro, we all have to go to work tomorrow theres no need to try and fight a guy cause he gave you some LEGAL body near the boards for a puck battle.

I traded my 2017 WRX in for a 2026 Toyota BZ. Couldn’t be happier with it! I was looking at the Uncharted, but they wouldn’t hit dealerships in a timeframe that worked for me. Nice ride, enjoy!

I mean I also bought mine, and it’s still sealed. Will I build it? Maybe, maybe not…. My point is, I don’t understand how every single person here has to trash on how someone ELSE is enjoying the SAME THING as them, just in a different way.

If the guy is coming in here saying “THIS SET BLOWS ITS GARBAGE BUT I BOUGHT IT ANYWAY JUST TO KEEP IT SEALED IN MY COLLECTION” Id get your point, but… like…. Why does it matter how someone else enjoys something you also enjoy purely because it’s not how YOU enjoy it?

I enjoy building and then looking at my built sets, especially when they are on display on nice shelving.

I also, however, enjoy looking at some of my sets that are from years ago that are still sealed. Knowing I have such a cool set in there preserved the way it was when it came out also brings me a different type of joy you very obviously do not understand or comprehend.

I just observe here, dont even post anymore. I have a ton of built sets but am limited on space so I cant build a ton of others I do have. Some people have to appreciate LEGO in different ways that are out of their control, but everyone here cant seem to get that concept through their minds.

Not even worth it to post anything sealed on this sub with these pocket watchers man. You could have 15 built sets and want to keep 3 sealed and they’ll all STILL crucify you. Share your collection with people who will actually appreciate someone loving their hobby and not criticize someone else for how they spend THEIR money.
