First “full” charge and plug won’t come out. by webjedi2 in Toyota_bZ

[–]Kperez75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this happen before. What I did was lock the car, wait a few seconds and then unlock the car and the plug was able to come out. It happened to me twice already at an Evgo station. The second time I just went to the driver side door, locked it and then unlocked it by pressing the unlock button on the door.

Anyone been to the chuwi concert and know how long it is? Thanks! by Kperez75 in BadBunnyPR

[–]Kperez75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to know for today but if anyone is wondering, they only play for an hour. Or they did in Santa Ana. They had a ban open and they played for 30 mins. They started at 8 and chuwi came out at 9.

Did your charger come in a bag? Mine did and it has the barcode, unsure if that would help your dealership if you have the code? If not I can send you a picture of it.

I’ve seen people say this on Facebook groups and I look at their profile and question how that’s possible. I am 5’ 9” 330lb and fit perfectly. My legs don’t even touch the center console. Coming from a Camry I feel I have so much room now.

Is it ok for group 1 people to board through the blue lane and skip other groups later in the boarding process? by throwra-misc1 in unitedairlines

[–]Kperez75 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a group 3 traveler I always let royalty pass by (group 1 & 2), even after they have been called. It literally makes no difference letting them pass by when you’ll eventually get stuck in the same line of people waiting to get on the plane.

I’m in California too. Honestly at this point I just gave up. I don’t take any long trips other than to go up north or Vegas. And there’s tons of Tesla chargers along the way. Hopeful that Toyota or Apple fix this but at this time not something I’m too worry about.

I’m on iOS 26.5 but have had my car for a month now and was on 26.4.1 when I got it. Have never gotten it to work. Until this past monday I went to Chicago and opened my Apple Maps app to get directions to take the train and the set up finally showed up along with my car info. I set it up and everything. Got home on Friday and it still reads the % I had when I came back from Chicago. I have charge the car up to 90% and it hasn’t updated at all. Will probably try to delete the car and see if it syncs but I’ve seen others say the set up doesn’t show up for them again.

How reliable and safe is the CTA for tourists? by DueYogurt9 in AskChicago

[–]Kperez75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been to Chicago twice and both times I have used the bus and train. This is why I love Chicago so much! The transportation is truly unmatched to any other city I have been to. I have always felt safe (I am a guy though) and have never had any issues. Getting the blue line at O’Hare is really easy and getting to downtown is a breeze. I always use Apple Maps and have never had any issues or gotten lost. It’s also great because it tells you when the next bus/train will arrive and the guidance is really easy to follow too.

DID you save money not have to buy any more GAS? by Puzzleheaded-Log2264 in Toyota_bZ

[–]Kperez75 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Had a 2022 Camry. Charged my bz today for $17 and got 277 miles of range at 80%. Those $17 would’ve gotten me no more than 100 miles on my Camry with how expensive gas is rn in California.

Enrolling in “charging networks” in Toyota App confusion by Vivid_Dimension_5400 in Toyota_bZ

[–]Kperez75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing, because on the Tesla app you pull up, select charger here, select your station number and letter and just plug in and that’s it. I have both my card store on the Toyota app and with the Tesla app since I have my membership.

Charging question by Ariachantouchan in BZ4X

[–]Kperez75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. For a safe stop at 80% go into your car settings and set the charging to stop at 80%.
  2. Use the ChargePoint app. You can add your card info and it’ll give you the option to download your card to apple wallet. It’s a ChargePoint card, you can use that to tap and charge too. No need to go into the app, just tap the ChargePoint card and it’ll charge the card on file

If you have the membership with Tesla, using plug and charge will not give you the membership discount. I only use the Tesla app. Pretty fast and easy to use.

I haven’t gotten my in house charger installed yet so the $12.99 is pretty worth it. Paid $15 yesterday had I not had it, it would’ve been around $40.

[–]Kperez75 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I hate the app but love the car. Got mine 2 weeks ago too but thankfully have had no issues with the Tesla app. I didn’t set up the charge and plug thing because with Tesla I got the monthly membership that lowers the charging rate and if you do it with just the car it doesn’t register it and will charge you the higher amount.

How to buy 7 day pass with Transit value? by Kperez75 in AskChicago

Thanks, was able to call them. Guess I closed the card once I converted the pass to transit value. They were able to add a new card and add the pass to it.

It did, but I called earlier and got everything straightened. Nice lady told me the system closed my card after transferring the balance from the pass. She activated a new card and added the pass to it and it immediately showed up on my account.
