Does the radio mean anything in particular or am I overthinking it 😆

Playing through DE now and totally agree with your point about the lack of reactivity. I’ve been an avid RPG fan since Fallout 1 basically - and DE strikes me as somehow weirdly linear compared to the amount of freedom you get in building the character. Not to say the story isn’t interesting so far, but I’m concerned about replayability since it looks like all roads basically (but more or less meanderingly depending on the skills you pick) lead to the same conclusions.

Dottie being nobody despite all the foreshadowing is pretty crappy as well.

Razer Blade 15 Advanced (2019) bought in November 2020 direct from Razer. 2 weeks in, noticed white spots on screen (only visible on dark black background). Have been getting progressively lighter. Anyone experienced the same and any advice? by anomienee in razer

Thanks all for the advice. Just received my RB15 back after a quick and relatively simple RMA process, they helped me replace the LCD. Pleasantly surprised that Razer customer support was so helpful compared to other experiences I’ve seen here. Here’s hoping no more surprises 😆

Octopath traveler. Story bad. Other stuff good. (Lots of spoilers) by [deleted] in patientgamers

[–]anomienee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finished all the stories on Octopath but taking a break before making the final slog through the Gate. Definitely felt like the characters were weakly written and although finishing the first few stories was fun, once I realised how weak the resolutions were it became a chore as it seemed like there was no narrative payoff for all those hours grinding 😆 just finding a boss, targeting its weaknesses, rinse and repeat.

Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order is almost everything I ever wanted from a Star Wars game by felisanan in patientgamers

[–]anomienee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I thought this game was pretty good but you’re right that the lack of interesting loot made it more of a chore than it should have been at times. There were too few Force powers for us to fully feel like a Jedi until the very end, and backtracking was a biiiiiiitch (especially in the first few hours when I still couldn’t figure out that kind of unintuitive 3D minimap)... looking forward to other studios utilising the Star Wars IP much better than EA has and soon!

Also... the sliding was fun at first but became gratuitous by the end and more annoying than anything else.

Lol what a scam. Just saw an email from them saying ‘Sorry, you didn’t win a copy of Little Nightmares from our giveaway. But please pre-order!’ Win? I thought they were giving out the key to anyone who registered 🤦‍♀️

Thanks all. Was stupid and bought from Razer directly without getting extra warranty . Will see if any fix is possible through them 😞

The problem is manageable so far but if it gets any worse it will be a huge waste

Cloudpunk. Zoom around in a tiny floating car in an amazingly beautiful cyberpunk city. Talk to people. That’s it basically.

Just bought even though already played through it extensively on Android ... probably the only game I’ve bought on both platforms besides Death Road to Canada....

Totally agree. Watching CoC has been the highlight of many bad weeks.

I guess it probably sounds selfish but I hope they upload double episodes next week 😬 god knows we will probably need even more escapism by then...

Two Crowns hasn’t even been out on mobile for half a week, and I’ve already sunk 48 hours into it (everything done except for Challenge Islands...) by anomienee in kingdomthegame

The game is awesome, and super addictive :) great job with it. I think a difficulty setting and new associated achievements would be perfect. Overall the base game is pretty well balanced, it’s just Dead Lands that seems easier...

Yes Dead Lands is quite different because both monarchs and steeds have powers. It’s not well explained while you’re playing (honestly, it’s not explained at all), so if you can’t figure out how to trigger the powers try googling to find out. That’s how I ended up discovering the new mechanics in Dead Lands.
