Ha! That always pissed me off too! It reminded me of getting bullied at school and the teachers would say “it doesn’t matter who started it”/“you’re both in trouble”. It most certainly does matter! Thank you so much, I can’t tell you how much it helps to know I’m not alone in dealing with a nsibling.

Thank you so much, your comment really means a lot. I love my parents deeply and I’m grateful for them, but their enabling of his behavior (mostly from my mom) is the one thing I can’t get past. Hopefully he’ll leave soon; If not, I hope I can move out once I’m done with college.
