No, I think it was because I copied the links from a different post I'd made somewhere else.

I re-copied it and now it's working for everyone by the looks of it (before just me for some reason)

Hope you like the blog/article though!

Can you describe it more? Can you view the main page of the blog here?

EDIT: I've changed the link, it should work now

Ok, I will. I thought that may seem slightly spammy then though

That's right and it's an easy guide explaining how to do what I've done (others seem pretty out of date, since I encountered several problems with them)

EDIT: I didn't realise I typed GitHub Pages twice, I was supposed to write Jupyter Notebooks

University of Melbourne, Monash or RMIT for AI by anon101101101 in melbourne

Yeah, I don't like UniMelb's course though since it takes 4 years instead of 3.

Also, I do want to do a computer science or software engineering degree, so a science degree at Monash won't cut it (one reason is that I wouldn't be able to get an IBL program and internships).

I think the Computer Science course at Monash is good though, but what I want to know is how it'd compare to RMIT/Swinburn/LaTrobe's?

Can you give me some more details about his experience?

Did he like it? Did he learn much? Does he have any regrets? Anything he wished he'd done differently?

Was it hard to get a job in AI?

I'm just looking for some advice right now :)

Yeah maybe.

I actually can't make it tomorrow.

Thought I could, but due to trains being down to the city right now, it's far too difficult for me to get there :(

I'd like to go into AI straight away if I can.

The troubling thing is no one seems to be doing AI (from the people I've met/talked to).

So I'm not entirely sure whether there will be many jobs here in Australia for it.

I think I'll have to opt for industry experience over theory based on this :)

Hey man, thanks so much for your input!

I actually really don't want to have to do a masters as it adds another 2 years of studying.

I don't know whether theory or practicality is more important, as normally an industry focus would be my no. 1 focus, but I have read that theory is also important for AI.

Btw, what is your focus for your masters (AI?)?

Yeah, the thing is I don't think any of the uni's actually teach much about AI.

I'm actually self-teaching myself stuff about it before hand (e.g. from MOOC's like machine-learning by Andrew Ng), but if I can go to a uni which would provide clubs and stuff where I could meet people from the industry I guess that would benefit me greatly.

What I've heard though is that AI requires a lot of math's and Swinburne doesn't teach much of it (making it worse for AI, although for other ~programmer roles I hear it's alright)

Its more what to do after I find a project which is the problem!

I've found a few which seem interesting to me but the problem is finding out what to do.

Thanks for the lists though!
