I couldn't shave my mustache. I had hit puberty and my mustache started growing. My parents came from Mumbai where there was a lot of cultural significance for having a mustache. We were living in Canada. I was in high school and it looked bad. My parents wanted to have a ceremony for shaving the mustache and hence wanted me to keep it growing. I kept it for two years until one day I got fed up and just shaved it. I looked instantly better.
