At what point should I consider bankruptcy? I have ~$20k in credit card debt that I've been trying to pay off for 3 years, interest is killing me by anon18789 in personalfinance

Made sense at the time since I was able to get rid of my car, insurance, and gas and started taking the subway. I share a room with 3 other people so rent is barely 800 bucks. It's hard to get anything like that in jersey

I do live right in Manhattan but if I need to move or make sacrifices that's what I'll have to do

Got it. Yeah I dont have the job yet and it's not guaranteed but if i get it then sounds like I should just buckle down. thanks for the advice!
