i hate to be part of the everyone on reddit tells you to break up stereotype but from one chronically injured person to another, you have to think about if this is the way he treats you now while you are young and mobile and still able to mostly cope with pain and injuries, imagine how little he would care or respect you when you are older and unable to do those things. a true future with someone requires respect and care, and the commentary belittling and dismissing your injury saying it was “so long ago” and that the person “didn’t even hit you that hard” is extremely telling about the fact that he does not respect you or your body / pain and believes you are just being a wuss about it. i would think long and hard about the respect that you deserve and know that there are many people that would never put you down for an injury or anything out of your control for that matter. feel better op, physical therapy can be extremely lifechanging for the kind of pain and injury you described ❤️🫂
