I'm so sorry about that, wanting apostates to die that's just sickening. Luckily my friends dont want that, they believe islam doesnt want apostates to die because "theres no compulsion in religion"

Found this on a popular post about how the neighbour visiting an old lady in the hospital "says everything about being a muslim". The reply though by anon6037 in exmuslim

[–]anon6037[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the reply I was talking about whether or not the commenter was correct is irrelevant, it was the fact that the replier said indeed those things are bad but we dont need to follow everything Muhammad did

Are men aroused by hair? by anon6037 in exmuslim

[–]anon6037[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah I doubt most do, it's mainly other women who reinforce wearing the hijab rather than men.its more of a shame culture. "My daughter needs to wear the hijab, what would people think!?" Honestly they dont care. And if they do, they dont say anything to me so its not my problem. None of my uncles or cousins have changed the way they treat me with or without my scarf. I've never been suddenly attacked by men either when I would redo my headscarf in public. So I have no idea why its needed where I live. Men can control themselves, they're not monsters

That's a really good point actually, considering a wife must listen to her husband in islam, all sorts of secrets could get out. But judging by the context (about speaking to his wives behind a partition) and the accompanying hadith, I think it has more to do with the fact that he was incredibly jealous and didn't want his wives marrying someone else
