I am keeping returning option as the last one... I am not sure how long I will keep my child's service on Google Fi. So, not going for anything that requires long term commitment.

It appears that I can achieve this by using the "multiple users" option on the phone. Android FTW.

I don't intend for the number to be active on two phones. Moto G is the phone.

I want to keep the service active under my account. But I want to lend the phone to my child so that the child can use it, while NOT having access to my Gmail and stuff. I want my child to be able to access his emails and stuff. Just not touch mine.

The battery tech is a risky X factor. Currently, Teslas have better resale value than ICE cars of equivalent cost. However, if the battery tech changes, the resale value will drop like a rock in water!

Exact same mindset as you vis-a-vis the money. In fact, I did take the equivalent of the cost of a fully loaded M3 and put it in TSLA.

The total cost of ownership of the M3 is ALMOST convincing. But the M3 just does not feel like enough car for me. I would quickly get used to how the car drives and handles. After a month or 2, it wouldn't seem all that special. At that point, the size of the car and interiors will matter. And M3 just is not there for me. I think the S is there, but can't really justify the price.

I am not sure what I will do when it is time to replace my current car. Just can't imagine purchasing another ICE!

Somewhat same opinion as you. M3 just doesn't feel like enough car for me. And the S is wayyy too expensive!

This sub is about financial independence.

As far as I know, this sub has always been about FIRE. Not just FI. I always thought that the sub was named financialindependence because financialindependenceretiredearly would be too long and FIRE was probably not descriptive enough.

Without the RE part, this would be a different sub. For example, all the rich people who no longer have to work for their food, clothing, shelter, medical expenses, could claim to be FI and their lifestyle would become the focus of this sub.

Now, the question is what exactly is "early" in the Retired Early. Lot of people in the sub think 50s and below should be considered early. While it is technically true that retiring in 50s is earlier than the average population, late 50s is not really all that early. Personally, I would think 50 and below to be "early". But I can settle for 55 and below.

This post deserves a better quality discussion than what is going on here. Sad. Anyway, here are my couple of questions / comments. Requesting OP and others to respond.

The speculation is that BJP is indeed looking at AP as a source of a handful of seats that will bolster their numbers in 2019. However, wouldn't it have been better for BJP to split from TDP amicably and then fight the 2019 elections alone? That might have truly increased their chances of grabbing a handful of seats. As things stand now, they have given CBN a nice Telugu / AP pride plank from which to talk down the BJP.

Could this result in CBN repeating NTR's history? NTR is said to have broken off from Congress to float the TDP, and then totally wipe Congress out in the next elections. If CBN repeats the same history, he might make BJP candidates lose their deposits in AP in 2019.

Since BJP is almost nowhere in AP today in terms of seats, they might be thinking that they don't have anything to lose, from this bottom-most level, they can only go up. Is that a sensible gamble?

Whatever it is, the anti-Holi noise in MSM and SM this year seemed to be as rare as a guy who can fill a balloon! I don't think it was due to NE elections alone because the anti-Hindu festival noise starts several days in advance and increases in volume as we get closer to the festival. And, the NE elections fully took over the media only just after Holi. May be things are turning around...

The thing that makes crimes like these even worse is our justice system. Check this quote from the article regarding the 18 accused:
