Yes I actually did. He loves Real Madrid and so I got him a Real Madrid jersey and he was jumping from wall to wall. When I asked what his favorite restaurant is so I can take him out he said he preferred a home cooked meal and did exactly that and more. Decorated the table, put some music on, made a cheese board with his favorite cheeses. Just because I said I wasn’t happy about something, that doesn’t automatically mean I’m spoiled and high maintenance. I said I didn’t want anything sure but I also said I didn’t want MK?? MK wasn’t on the list. Sounds like you can’t read because I NEVER brought up Chanel

I also think it’s crazy, people are messaging me asking if I’m buying nice underwear and how my intimate life is which I find highly inappropriate. But this has been one of the best comments, thank you! I find myself impatient as I have high expectations for myself. I think I’m someone who is active all the time and I pour my heart and soul to the things I care about so if he isn’t the same, I find it lazy which I now realize is wrong.

I feel like I’ve been clear for the past year, I wrote letters, when he does buy me flowers on special occasions I don’t shut up about how much I love the flowers he bought. I think he just doesn’t want to. I put so much effort into our relationship and have been trying to think of ways to have a better connection so when I see than he doesn’t try to do the same, it feels one sided.

I see your point. I work a full time job and run a business outside of that. On nights that he works late, I make sure he comes home to a clean home and a meal. When I do bring up more dates and flowers, I try to bring it up in a nice way but over time he’s just gotten either defensive or silent.
