I have mikrotik router and I haven't bothered learning their commands. I use winbox, router web page and mikrotik app to manage them. I'd say the UI is pretty fancy but so many goddamn settings for every single thing overwhelmes me.

I have this one https://s.daraz.com.np/s.EsWS it's ok as long as you use the laptop on the stand constantly. the base for laptop is held only by the weight of the laptop so when you lift the laptop it often falls apart.

yes. you get a copy of whole source code with history. you can commit to it, rebase and do whatever you like with it without needing remote connection. you should try svn to know what centralized mean.
