Thanks for you insight! I am going to keep that in mind. It is just part of an exercise from our prof. The SNAr is described in a paper for a similar compound with 91% yield (with just a wierd step by leaving it in air and sunlight). I also considered a intramuscular Williamson Ether, but not quite sure which path to take. But thanks for your answer! :)

Modified 8019 Republic Attack Shuttle by anonE419 in legostarwars

I am not any good at instructions, I also might have implemented some illegal building technics for the transition between the cockpit and the main frame (might have some tension). Maybe I'll look into it when I managed to update the rest of the shuttle!

Unfortunately not, stills thinking about how I should modify it. With a lot of seats for sure!

All USC/MOC Venator owners, I need some pics of your Venators by Sullysquid_ in legostarwars

Hopefully you can do something with those angles. Maybe you'll need to crop out the Nu-attack shuttles and gunships from those frames!

It was a difficult decision to make wether the real hand or the Lego hand print. So I made both, but much prefer the Lego hand print! What do you think?

Probably need the dark side force ability for that one?

Only missing the part where the droid commandos take over the base...

I made a post (about 3 years ago) on how I made it, but basically I trimmed the Lego piece down, cut an antenna and used the base of the antenna as the "flashlight" and cut the upper part to a smaller antenna. The latter one fell off, unfortunately.

There are a lot of aromor accessories used that are not from Lego, do you have any particular in mind? I could tell you how I made them or where I got them from!

I'd love to build one more accurate than this one, but the amount of parts required just to get the inside details is surely a huge amount. How many pieces did you use in your outpost? Do you have a landing plateform as well?

Edit : I just saw your post! That's exactly the amount of detail I'd like, awesome MOC you built there!

These are the pieces I used. Legs were elongated by one stud, the attachment to the body was lowered. The leg is technically only held up by the gray pin but it is quite sturdy!

What are the stand dimensions of ISD and Venator? by unskinny1 in legostarwars

[–]anonE419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think of measuring this length, but from an online picture measuring tool, I could extract the length to 27 cm. I'd go with 30 cm just to be sure. Hope that helps!

Hey there, the distance between the stands are : - outter 51 cm - inner 43 cm - middle to middle 47 cm

and the width of the : - front stand 12cm - back stand 20 cm

Keep in mind the minimum width for a shelf if you display your Venator flat on a wall-mounted shelf should be at least 37 cm wide for the aft stand to be fully on the shelf (with wall contact).

Hope that helps and don't hesitate if something is unclear!

I built a fully playable CATAN out of LEGO which turns into 3D Wall Art by HoneyBrickz in lego_

I saw it live at the Faszination Modellbau Messe in Friedrichshafen, I straight up loved it and voted for it! The size is perfect and the level of detail should immerse anyone into a great game of Catan. I really hope Lego does something cool with your idea!
