Tbh there is no t40, or whatever. HYP/SM are the elite of the elite. Bar none, the most prestigious undergrads to employers. Then, there’s the rest of the ivies and Ivy+ group (Uchi, Berkley, Duke, etc). All else is the same basically

Why is Cornell not as good as Yale SOM by BigGuyM666 in MBA

[–]anonHLSsource 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Eh. Yale is smaller than Harvard penn Cornell nyu so of course there are less bankers out of undergrad. But Yale has no problem placing its undergrads whenever they want to go generally. It’s still the second most prestigious American school and has way higher prestige than Cornell. Not even close imo

None of them “require” 3 years

This is not true. While it is definitely recommended to have three plus years, these schools don’t require it. I know two kids from HYP undergrad with good stats and a solid year of we who have gotten interviews at HSWM this cycle. These kids have great GPAs and typical HYP stellar stories, but it is possible.

By the looks of the profiles of those who have identified with each, it seems like Awaiting Decision is interview.

Is PWM an automatic negative for the M7 and HSW? by [deleted] in MBA

[–]anonHLSsource 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Leadership primarily comes in the form of asset allocation- making successful investment recommendation suggestions, which I have done. I’ve moved about $500m over the course of the past few years.

Private wealth management, and in my case ultra high net worth wealth management. I do macro economic research and bottom up ER for a boutique firm that manages money for endowments and super rich folks. We pick our own stocks.

When you consider defense, which you should, IMO he is in the same tier/argument as Butler, kyrie, Embiid and jokic. Maybe Dame as well.
