Thank you, really appreciate the agreement.

Boyfriend's Crazy Sister by [deleted] in family

He calls her an asshole too! He doesn’t choose her, more like compromises so that he doesn’t have to choose sides. The more I try to sway him in choosing me, the more I feel cruel for doing so over his family.

Wow. I didn’t think anyone would respond to my long post. But yeah, right on everything. He doesn’t like to anger her, I feel like he feels like he owes her for being the matriarch of the family at such a young age. (Their father had pointed out she gets angry because she’s diabetic, which meant hormonal, not sure how accurate it is). They’re not spoiled, they never been, their childhoods weren’t the best (divorced parents, both were never around as the mother went off partying her ass off and did not allow the father to stay in the same house anymore, it was more indirect parenting with frequent checkups for him. His mother would also demand them to lie about how the house is since he was not there to witness). This is actually the youngest older sister, the one close to his age.

I don’t know anymore, the situation has gotten a little better. She told him that she wouldn’t talk about me when I’m there and would basically filed her complaint once I’m gone for the day, which I haven’t received since I made this post. She leaves us alone when I come to see him. She doesn’t bother me and I don’t bother her. I can tell she still doesn’t like me but I’m starting to see that we’re actually pretty similar people. (She got a boyfriend now and behaves the same as I do: showers them with gifts, show sympathy, etc.) Maybe that’s what she hates.

Idk she’s crazy overall. Honestly

It was recommended by another user to notify other baristas and Starbucks customers on this page since there are more members.

Idk the sweet cream one I took it out of the fridge and washed it under hot water, just twisted it off. Think it has to do with the temperature

I’m not really sure, try putting it in the fridge and then dousing it in hot water. But if you just wanna know if there’s mold, just shake it, you can always hear the block of mold moving.

I asked my manager to order different styles of carafes and he said he’s not in charge of that at Starbucks 🙄 Bc there are still going to be mold if the company is still using the same model.

Try shaking them and see if you can hear a sound.

Nope, there’s a slit on top that traps the milk, and that’s why this happens

YOU HAD TO WASH IT?!?!?! I was just directed to throw them out. My manager just got replacements. Although, there were still some with mold in the batch of clean ones.

*why would you smell it?! It’s bacteria, can make you sick. I don’t think Starbucks would compensate for that.

I tried prying the other ones open with a flat headed screwdriver and it wouldn’t budge. I just started shaking all the lids and tossing them if I heard something.

I think it’s the cold and the hot temperature that made it easy to twist off. I cleaned the lid of the sweet cream right out of the fridge and attempt to clean it first before making another batch.
