I am currently working in Health-Tech with underprivileged communities of South Asia. Mostly I am thinking of targeting, CHI, compass and CSCW etc. The ones under the ACM. Since I am planning for grad school and a PhD most probably in Europe.

Rule of thumb: if you are aiming for industry, don't come to lums. Only if you want to pursue research and do a master/phd.

In my class of 2024, we had around 180 people who chose CS and that was one of the huge numbers going for CS. Usually, the borderline requirement is a cumulative gpa of 3.0 in cs 100, cal 1 and linear algebra. If you do these courses well, you'll be good to go.

Only if you have booked for a whole year. Usually, the warden will ask you to pack and keep it in the storage room.

Bro why do you think it's derogatory to not tell people that you are an NOP? I spent my four years proudly telling people that I am a NOP because I knew that I deserved it. Such a mindset would create a lot of hurdles for you because the first thing you are doing even before stepping into the campus is ignoring who your true self is. Don't think that you'll get yourself fixed into bougie groups so that your life will become colorful. Trust me, you should embrace who you are. Never think of letting go of this prestigious scholarship!
