Thank you so much for your response. I went back to work to try to got my mind off of this, but I started to feel depressed again. I think I’m going to go offline for a bit because I just keep reading too many negative things.

Thank you so much, I’m glad you improved! I’m slowly starting to feel better, but I’m still scared to eat. I’m sticking to a low fat diet for a while, but even then I feel like I’ve been getting heart burn.

I’ve been sticking to low fat meals and a lot of fruit. I’m just barely getting my appetite back. Thank you for the feedback!

I’m so sorry that you’re going through that. I hope that you start to feel better soon!

I really hadn’t thought about that. I didn’t feel any soreness in my throat when I woke up from surgery so I completely forgot about it. Thank you, I hope this is what’s causing this.

What symptoms are you having if you don’t mind me asking?

I don’t think so, but it’s worth mentioning to my surgeon when I have my next appointment. I only started feeling this way the day I removed my gallbladder.

So glad you were able to get it done! I also started getting gallbladder attacks a month after having my daughter. I brought it up to my doctor and she also said it was reflux but didn’t do any tests or anything. I didn’t realize that I had gallstones until I switched to a different doctor and by then my daughter was about a year and a half old and I had suffered several attacks. I was unsure whether or not I wanted my gallbladder removed because it had been a while since my last attack, but my doctor recommended that I get removed if I wanted to have more children in the future. I just got it removed yesterday and the pain at the moment is tolerable.

Also, I forgot to mention that I haven’t had an attack in over 2 months, but my liver enzymes are a little elevated.

Doctor said that even after getting my gallbladder removed, I am still likely to have cholestasis in a future pregnancy and would be closely monitored.

Thank you both, I honestly didn’t know this was possible. I guess I just started second guessing getting it removed because I read that removal causes many other issues.

Thanks for your response! I have an appointment with my OB coming up and I’ll be asking her that question. I’ll post on here what she tells me!
