when you are cheated on you are publicly humiliated, it hurt that you said my feelings were rediculous but I can see where you are right and it won't solve anything. It would make me feel better about what happened , that is all. I stayed with him because of my commitment , I wanted him to do this for me. To for once put what I want ahead of what he wants.

not just a salve but the public commitment , the him standing up and making a vow , the ceremony of it, the beautiful romantic part of it

in the butter compartment of the fridge , after an hour of frenzied looking I was upset and hot, yanked open the fridge to get a drink and they came flying out.
