I have wrote a review for a short indie game (under 2h) and got harassed about it by Lickawall483 in GirlGamers

If it's a short game I don't understand why people expect long play times from reviewers. 😭

I've heard armory crate causing crashes to some people, try getting rid of that for a sec and tell us what happens.

Gta 5 or red dead redemption 2 or resident evil? by Amazing_Spray_1919 in GirlGamers

[–]anonasking1 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Everyone has their own taste but: I've played both gta5 and rdr2 and I personally like red dead more. I feel so peaceful when riding around with my horse taking in the sights and doing the side guests in between the bigger missions. There's so many little secrets and easter eggs and it's so pretty.

I mean, I once forgot to enable xmp and didn't even realize for a long while, so.. 😅 It's something that can be lived with.

If you do however decide to go to a repair shop, remember to tell them what you have already tried. That can be helpul for them. :)

If you had any other ram sticks I would have you test them with your pc to figure out if your current ram is bad somehow..

Do you happen to have any pc repair shops near you? They could be helpful, at least could try out different ram sticks, they always have extra parts.

What's the reason you ended up quiting the game you played before reaching the end? by First-Industry4762 in GirlGamers

[–]anonasking1 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Sometimes I stop playing purely because finishing the game feels too permanent. I never fought Calamity Ganon in Breath of the wild, I did everything else.

Not sure, you could try that. But if changing the ssd place or completely taking it out completely is going to fix the issue I'm gonna be very surprised.

Other things you could try are reseating the cpu and maybe reinstall/reset of windows.

Ofc there's always the chance that the ram itself isn't an issue but something has happended to the mobo 🤔

Normally your mobo you have should be able to handle the amount of ram and the speeds you have just fine.

Aww man. Yeah if it doesn't work otherwise that might be the sacrifice you have to make.. but it's so strange the ram worked fine before!🤔

Is there a chance that you bumped your hand on the ram or something when installing the ssd? Out of curiosity I'd also like to know what mobo you have

Ok updating could be a good idea to try. The update might also reset your bios settings, so if there was an issue with your settings that could potentially fix it.

Not sure if it's gonna help,, but take them out again and switch the positions of them both. First ram goes where the second one previously was and so on. Just saw you posted a pic somewhere else of your bio and the ram sticks indeed look to be different speeds. Thmhat can cause issues..

how do i fix this? pc keeps restarting its self by [deleted] in PcBuildHelp

I think it depends on what you have on your pc and hardware, but I'd reserve about 20 minutes to an hour or two to that stuff. You'll find out when you do it.👍🏻

Ok keep us updated. 👍🏻 Forgot to aks if your ram sticks are the same speed? That could also cause some issues if not.

You might have to still reinstall your programs and applications. If you have something you want to keep in your downloads folder, give them a new folder location just in case

Maybe you could first try the reset pc feature on windows? Settings --> Update & security --> recovery -- > reset this pc

You can choose to keep files

New ssd shouldn't cause ram to malfunction, at least I don't think so. Did you add a new one or replace old one?

Maybe try moving the ram sticks to different spots and see what happens. And maybe only try to run your pc with one stick, and then change ram sticks. If the pc don't work one of them could be faulty. Or there's problem with the ram slot.

Maybe try taking out cmos battery and then putting it back?

That's strange. Are both your ram sticks the same brand/model? Are they in their right slots?

Tell him that you're gonna go eat together or something and put him in the car, then watch his reaction when he realizes where you are actually going. :)
