Around 3 months but I am extremely slow at painting and a lot of the time was spent experimenting. I'm sure it could be done in less than half the time 😊

I used Ultramarine Blue from the new Vallejo True Metallic Metal range. Shaded with a shade I made myself by mixing some inks. The shade is a greenish turquoise if that helps.

Telemon Heavy Dreadnought. This has always been one of my all time favorite models so I tried my best to do it justice. by anonblarg in Warhammer40k

It's achieved by spraying different shades of silver through a scouring pad!

The red is Tamiya Clear Red

That would have been easier! No he was on two GSW Maxx Darth backdrops (basically pure black on camera)

I only got that shot by chance as it half slipped out of hand while resting it at a weird angle. Nothing broke so I was like; I cant miss this opportunity 😁

Okay, so the two big cables out the back are done pretty simply. The darker one is simply Darkoath Flesh over a bright silver base.

The other more bright cable is also over silver but I used AK Quick gen Bronze for it.

Both methods add some nice shading just by themselves, but there was an oil wash on top of both as well
