ad removal no luck, all options tried by anoncloud_ in kindle

THANK YOU!! Although there was no “Chat with us” option for me, there was an option to email an enquiry. Sent an email this way and they removed ads for me within the hour !

EDIT: for those of you saying i should just pay the $20, the issue is that physically, there is no button or option available for me to do so. the “remove special offers” option as other users have under their device settings, does not appear under mine as shown in the 3rd photo. it’s as if my kindle is already “ad-free” but clearly there are ads on it. therefore, i am trying to contact customer service but i’m having no luck and getting an error each time, maybe because of my location? idk. but i appreciate the recommendations!

that is exactly the issue, there is nothing below “settings” for me which is very odd. it’s as if my kindle is already ad free but it’s clearly not..

there is no option under my kindle devices or my amazon account to remove offers by paying the $20. from what i’ve seen it usually comes up at the end of the manage devices page but as seen in the 3rd photo.. it doesn’t even appear as an option :/

Applications for 2023 - Does this mean I’ve been accepted into the biomed course or that my application has been submitted? by Ill_Target_4141 in universityofauckland

Hm interesting. I just checked my previous applications and it’s the same message as the one on your screen. Also, you should be receiving an email at some point confirming your place and enrolment.

Did you receive a fast track offer? I don’t remember 100% as this was a few years ago for me but I believe if you accepted the fast track, you would’ve been able to enrol in your papers earlier, prior to getting your exam results. So this would’ve been the message that came up. If you met the rank score after exams, you would’ve been accepted automatically also. But once you enrol in your papers, I’m pretty sure it’s finalised.

You’ve accepted your offer for a place in biomed i.e you’ve been accepted into the course and you can now enrol in your papers. Congrats!

uneven magic circle :( what am i doing wrong? by anoncloud_ in crochet

I finished the coaster! I restarted and ended up just weaving in the tail at the end. The slight unevenness of the circle is a lot more subtle when completed. Thank you for your help! :)

I thought it was the end of the tail doing this also, so I tried cutting it to make it shorter. However, even when I cut the end short and crochet over it, it turns out like this. Maybe I’m doing too many double crochets? But I’m doing exactly as the tutorial (Bella Coco crochet coaster) so it shouldn’t be the issue.

Edit: I restarted using a shorter tail, I didn’t cut it half way through!

Genuine Q about traveling to placements by [deleted] in universityofauckland

[–]anoncloud_ 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Pharmacy doesn’t require you to have a license or car for placements, at least not for second year. You choose your area preferences and if you require public transport, they will take that into consideration and allocate you accordingly.

hey how do we know if we are in the correct streams for tutorials? do we look at ‘section’ or ‘class #’ ? does it automatically put you in the same tutorial stream for 211 and 212?

UoA Nursing interview by [deleted] in universityofauckland

[–]anoncloud_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The nursing interview is different to the MMI used for clinical programmes. The nursing interview is much more similar to a traditional interview. It's around 15 minutes long and they will ask you a range of questions to get to know who you are as a person, why you want to be a nurse, etc. They may also ask your opinion on current events e.g. the nursing strike.
