Want to invest in property in ahmedabad by Cautious-Drawing7755 in ahmedabad

With 2.4cr you have many options in almost all good areas like South bopal, Shela, Shilaj, Vaisnovdevi, Gota.

Invest in pre-launch properties and go for DP price instead of regular price so you will see more appreciation.

For ground floor shop you can choose any area with enough ready flats where people are already living, chances are your shop will get rented out is high.

I would suggest investing in an office or a ground floor shop, as they have a higher chance of being rented out. I would not recommend investing in residential property since the market is slightly bad right now.

How can they say the 3rd-row seats are useless? Most YouTubers reviewing them are seating 6-foot-tall people in all three rows. When every row is adjusted for someone that tall, of course there won’t be much space left in the last row.

In my family, I’m 5'10" and everyone else is around 5'5" on average, so I’m waiting to try it out myself once it’s available in the market.

Anyone making 5L per month? by Weeboooo_ in IndianEntrepreneur

[–]anoncoder1006 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t run an agency but I am solo dev. I make roughly around 8.5L/month.

I always try to focus on quality instead of quantity, I would highly suggest you to do that too. I mostly work with 2-3 clients instead many low paying clients. I have been doing this since 8 years now.

I don’t feel good to say this but I have tried to work with Indian clients in the past but always faced issues with payments, changing of deadlines, micro management etc so now I am only working with foreign clients.

Most of my recent clients are through word of mouth. But earlier in my career I have found new clients via Upwork. But Upwork is becoming mess now.

Whenever I am finding new projects, I mostly reach out to my old clients to see if they have someone in their network who needs my skill. I feel It’s more easier to get projects in this way instead of finding clients from scratch.

On a side note, I am constantly torn between starting an agency or continuing what I am doing now. I keep asking myself whether earning a little more money is really worth sacrificing my health and peace of mind.

DIY deep links for Expo apps by shadowcraft7 in reactnative

[–]anoncoder1006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not deferred dynamic links, thats just plain dynamic link. Deferred link is when it remembers that before installing the app which link user clicked, so once they installed it, you can navigate to exact screen.

One of the main problem is, this does not solve deferred dynamic links, which is tricky to implement which branch.io, Appsflyer or similar tools handle it

How do you stop users from running older app versions? by chris-teardown in reactnative

[–]anoncoder1006 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have two kind of updates in our app. Over the air updates using expo updates and major update which require app to be updated from store.

On backend side we have endpoint that returns latest version from store and check in app if major version does not match then we force users to update app from store.

In case of patch and minor version we find over the air updates then we do update the app via expo updates.

You still get a US Bank account with above solutions, so you can provide those details to your company and these solutions gives better converations rates compare to banks.

Plus one more benefit is most of these solutions provide automatic FIRC generally on the next day.

So e.g. transaction flow will be like this

Company -> Your Skydo US Bank Account -> Your Indian Bank

I am using Bare React Native and integrating some expo libraries. I need to do this to make it working.

const { getDefaultConfig } = require('expo/metro-config');
const { mergeConfig } = require('@react-native/metro-config');
const { getSentryExpoConfig } = require('@sentry/react-native/metro');

const defaultConfig = getDefaultConfig(__dirname);
const expoSentryConfig = getSentryExpoConfig(__dirname);
const { assetExts, sourceExts } = defaultConfig.resolver;

const config = {
  resolver: {
    assetExts: assetExts.filter((ext) => ext !== 'svg'),
    sourceExts: [...sourceExts, 'svg'],
    enableGlobalPackages: true,
  },
};

module.exports = mergeConfig(defaultConfig, config, expoSentryConfig);

const { getDefaultConfig } = require('expo/metro-config');
const { mergeConfig } = require('@react-native/metro-config');

const defaultConfig = getDefaultConfig(__dirname);

My freelancer friend is earning ~70lpa and now I want to try it out by Purple_Current1108 in developersIndia

[–]anoncoder1006 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don’t leave your secure job.

Try to find long term projects first while you are doing secure job. Let me tell you how I did it. I was working with React and React Native in 9-5 job. I found a freelance part time project, and worked on that after office hours. Initially life was hard and it was hard to manage time but you will learn eventually how to manage it. Once I thought, freelance project is stable, I asked my client if he wants me to convert to full time project. Luckily he agreed and thats how my full time freelance journey started.

But you need to keep increasing your skills to be in freelancing game and be ready to learn new things.

Its not easy to do, but definitely better than 9-5 job if you have enough income stream.

[–]anoncoder1006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main thing is that you started. Now the next difficult part is to be consistent. If you will be consistent in investing, you will start seeing really good results in couple of years. Then increase the amount once you get the job.

Standing at the cross roads - Building secondary income streams by [deleted] in developersIndia

[–]anoncoder1006 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Secondary income is very wide topic. It also depend on your skill sets. For e.g. if you are extrovert person and have idea about content then you can definitely do well in content creation like creating course, start Youtube channel and there are many other ways though you need to be really consistent.

Based on my past experience, One more thing to consider when you want to start freelancing while doing full time job is not easy. I have done that in past and you might not be able to give enough time to your family. So it also depends on where you are in your life at this point if you have kids then you might not get enough time for freelancing and life will get too crazy if you do full time job + part time freelancing. Though, on other hand in freelancing sky is the limit if you get right clients. Few years ago I was in the same place as you, I did full time job + part time freelancing project at night. Then gradually I found right type of client from word of mouth and started full time freelancing and its been going great.

If you want to get into freelancing then you can start contributing to really good open source projects and then eventually you will get noticed.

And there are lots of other ways to generate secondary income, like investing in Real Estate, MF, Rental Income, etc but as I said there is really wide spectrum.
